When you’re visiting the Colosseum, don’t miss the Arch of Constantine next door. It’s an impressive monument, built in the 4th century to commemorate a triumphant battle by the Roman emperor Constantine against Maxentius. Well preserved, it’s worth seeing this elaborately decorated arch up- close.
