Getting around
It’s easy to explore Bergen on foot but there are also plenty of other ways to hitch a ride if you want to give your legs a rest. From the airport
Getting from Bergen Airport to the city via public transport is simple, with both the Bergen Light Rail and the airport bus running frequent services. The light rail (Bybanen) connects the terminal with central Bergen in around 45 minutes, with tickets available from machines at the platform. The airport bus stops just outside the terminal and reaches Bergen bus station in about 20 minutes, with additional central stops such as Festplassen and Bryggen.
