Explore classical Rome

Getting around
One of the best ways to get around Rome is to simply walk, as there’s so much to see as you go from one sight to another. But Rome’s Metropolitana system is well developed and travels around all of the main sights too. It’s well worth considering a Roma Pass – this includes free admission to attractions, along with access to public transport. You can also hop on the city’s electric buses, with six different tramlines to take you through the narrow streets.
