Saint Ephraim Monastery

This 10th-century monastery is one of the oldest across the whole of the Attica region. With its terracotta-tiled domes and local stone, it’s a real sight to behold. Saint Ephraim is said to have performed miracles here, so many people from across Greece and beyond make the pilgrimage each year to pray and ask for a miracle.
