Not wanting to venture far? A handful of local cafés, restaurants and wine bars are set around a pretty square, the Piazzetta. Overlooking a sweet church, this is the life and soul of the village, where you can people-watch, drink local wine and eat Sardinian dishes to your heart’s content.

Trips to the coast

The island is your oyster, so get out and explore! Just a ten-minute drive to the coast and you’ll reach Spiaggia Rena Bianca. Touting a Blue Flag, this belter of a beach dazzles with white sands and azure waters that are excellent for snorkelling. In the other direction, Spiaggia Tanca Manna awaits. And in true Sardinian fashion, it’s a total knockout.
