Marmaris Castle

Marmaris Castle

Be transported to another era at Marmaris Castle, high on a hilltop above the bustling marina. It’s thought the castle dates back to 3000 BC, but was rebuilt by Ottoman Sultan Suleyman in 1522 for his conquest to Rhodes. It was opened as a museum in 1991, with art gallery and items of archaeological interest.
