Mausoleum at Halicarnassus

The ruins of the tomb of King Mausolus was once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and was known and recorded by philosophers throughout history. It was unfortunately destroyed in 1304 AD due to a massive earthquake, though today you can wander the ruins and still see many of the sculptures.
