PÅ‚aszów Concentration Camp

PÅ‚aszów Concentration Camp

Although many people use Krakow as a departure point for visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau, the city also had its own concentration camp. In fact, Plaszów is the concentration camp featured in Spielberg’s film Schindler’s List. The site remains largely untouched from when the Nazis abandoned it almost 70 years ago.
