The Cave of Ulysees

The Cave of Ulysees

Legend has it that Odysseus was shipwrecked on Mljet for 7 years and you can visit the stunning Cave of Ulysees, near the village of Babino Polje, where he supposedly sheltered. Swim or take a small boat through a 30metre tunnel from the sea into the cave, or abseil down through a hole in the cave's roof.
