Castello Scaligero

Castello Scaligero

The Castello Scaligero is like a 14th-century fairy-tale castle looking over Lake Garda. The fort was built in 1338 by the Della Scala family, in an attempt to fend off the Venetian Republic. For around 6 euros you can take a look around its fascinating museum and find out all about its history and the lake's many tradespeople.
