A crescent of sand

Marfa Bay is only 5 minutes from one of Malta’s few sandy beaches – Mellieha Bay. Wide, flat and nearly a kilometre long, Mellieha Bay is lined by beach bars and little souvenir shops. And above it all there’s the hill-top town, with fabulous views across the water.

Handy spot

While away time in quaint restaurants and cafés, browse the gift shops, or explore the 18th century Baroque church that towers over the bay. Malta’s also ideal for exploring further afield. Not only does Marfa Bay have views of the islands of Comino and Gozo, ferries to them also leave from here.
