Beside the seaside

Beautifully maintained and a holidaymaker’s honeypot, the Blue Flag Icici Beach is great for everyone. It’s mostly pebbly, though there are some spots with sand, and you'll find sunbathing platforms, loungers and parasols within the 500m it covers. Seafood eateries along the promenade too? Sounds like a bonus to us.

Outdoor pursuits

Paddleboarding, kayaking, beach volleyball... You name it, Icici’s got it! So you can really flex those muscles and try something new here. And thanks to its marvellous marina, setting sail is easy too. The Lungomare promenade is also a must for walkers and cyclists – you’ll be swooning over those views in moments.

Onwards to Opatija

The timeless blend of history and culture draws people to Opatija. Ornate architecture spans old villas, while Angiolina Park entices with exotic plants. You can also admire the coastal vistas, see the Maiden with the Seagull statue and buy lavender products as souvenirs. How about ordering the local Kvarner scampi or squid ink risotto for lunch?
