Feeling remote

Originally, this resort was a protected area thanks to wild colonies of birds. You’ll find pine trees on the edge of the beach, stretching out over the undeveloped hills behind. Be sure to keep an eye out for the old watchtower of Talaia de Son Jaumell at nearby Cala Ratjada.

Shopping vs sports

There are a handful of cool cafés and trendy restaurants offering snacks and drinks while you soak up the sun. Slightly further afield, you’ll find two golf courses to have a swing at, namely Canyamel and Capdepera, which are both perfect for a leisurely day of sport.

Days out

Cala Ratjada and Capdepera are the two nearest villages, but if you want to travel to somewhere a little more sizeable, then make the journey south to Cala Millor. Stock up on your essentials, or try one of the town’s great restaurants, serving up cuisines from all over the world.
