Tree of Hippocrates

Tree of Hippocrates

The island of Kos has plenty to be proud of, including being the birthplace of the 'father of medicine', Hippocrates. According to folklore, a tree he planted 2,400 years ago is still standing on the island and it's said he taught his students under its shaded canopy. You can find it close to the Archaeological Museum.
