Roman theatre

It is said that Alexander the Great once spent time at the Fethiye Amphitheatre, which could once seat 6000 people. Currently undergoing restoration, this theatre dates back to Hellenistic times and is one of the largest in the area. The amphitheatre is set just back from the harbour and is free to visit.
