But if you’re after more of an adventure, take a boat trip around the island’s national marine park to spot monk seals, dolphins and turtles!

Alonissos’ natural beauty makes it a magnet for keen walkers. Pine forest, olive groves and orchards blanket the island, creating a green oasis to explore on foot. Follow winding trails that criss-cross out of Patitiri and around the surrounding secluded countryside. 

Dreamy day trips

Ferries trundle to and from Patitiri daily, so you can explore neighbouring islands with ease. Our picks? Skiathos and Skopelos. White-sand beaches are Skiathos’ speciality, with hidden-away monasteries and excellent hiking trails too. Skopelos meanwhile steals hearts with its gorgeous harbour, showstopping beaches and family-run tavernas.
