Koum Kapi Beach

Koum Kapi Beach

To the east of Chania’s old town walls, you’ll find Koum Kapi Beach. It’s about a kilometre of soft sand, and the water is clean enough for swimming. It was named after the large gate that led you through to the city via the walls, and is now backed by eateries.
