Stretching along a gloriously golden 7km of Costa del Sol coastline, Torremolinos’ beautiful beaches are clean and close to other facilities. Conveniently, they’re also bordered by the seafront parade that links them together. Explore the Church of San Miguel, Pimentel Tower, Jardin Botanico Molino de Inca and more in town, too.
Torremolinos has a rich natural heritage. So, get your comfy shoes on, explore the hillsides and mountains, and learn all about its environmental origins. Later, don’t miss a chance to follow your nose for Andalusian light bites, gazpacho, chargrilled seafood, and so many more culinary wonders at the Fisherman’s District.
Chic chill-out bars, nightclubs, Irish pubs and even venues showcasing Spanish flamenco – there’s so much choice to keep you out on the town. But if festivals and carnivals are more your bag, there are plenty of events on from March to December. Streets like Calle San Miguel become open-air stages!
Torremolinos, Costa del Sol
Do you dare take on the highest waterslide in Europe? The 22m-tall Kamikaze isn't the only nerve-testing attraction at Aqualand, the biggest waterpark on the Costa del Sol. Plunge down the Black Hole, with over 100m of breathtaking drops, or whizz along the rapids. Fancy something calmer? Relax in the jacuzzi pool.
Torremolinos, Costa del Sol
The main shopping area is the pedestrianised Calle San Miguel. It has an abundance of souvenirs, from flamenco dolls and hand-painted dishes to leather handbags. It's located on top of a hill, with 178 steps to climb to reach it, but the good news is there's a lift to the top if you don't fancy working up a sweat.
Torremolinos, Costa del Sol
In between sunbathing, take time out to look round this beautiful neo-Moorish building. You'll find it just behind Bajondillo beach, and it gives you a lovely view out to sea. The building, which is managed by the council, is now a museum and venue for weddings and other ceremonies. The wedding room is very pretty.
