A laid-back spot, Santo Tomas is situated midway along the south coast of the island, less than an hour's transfer from the airport. Being a small resort, you get all the peace and quiet you could ask for, but the neighbouring towns offer the option for something a little livelier.
A promenade runs along the beach with several play areas and there is also mini golf and a small riding stable nearby. For a slight change of scene, the more adventurous can follow a well worn path around the headland to the livelier resort of Son Bou, which takes around 45 minutes.
Santo Tomas, Menorca
Get a taste of authentic Menorca and drive 10 minutes up the hill from Santa Tomas to the pretty little town of Es Migjorn. There's no accommodation here so the town is barely touched by tourism and you can expect to live like a local in the town’s traditional tapas restaurants, café-bars and laid-back taverns.
Santo Tomas, Menorca
Playa San Adeodato is west of the Santo Tomas resort and stretches all the way to Binigaus. The water here is relatively shallow and once you’ve negotiated the pebbles into the water then it’s a taste of the Caribbean. There’s a duty lifeguard and a beach bar too.
Santo Tomas, Menorca
Santo Tomas beach is a long stretch of white sandy beach that slopes into a lovely warm sea. And there are lots of sun beds, parasols and watersports available to hire. A lot of the beach facilities close down in the winter months but it's still a great place for a stroll or a picnic when the sun's out.
