Jupiter Albufeira Hotel

Excellent food choices, so many hotel activities for kids as well as things nearby, great service and room was lovely and clean too.

Booked a 2 week AI and it didn't dissapoint! The hotel catered for all types,family,couples,elderly! Food was top notch, bar and restaurant staff fantastic! Head waiter Pedro in the A'lacarte Restaurant was class. As a couple we wanted a battery charge and the quiet pool area was just Heaven! Rooms were very nice and cleaned daily. The only gripe we had was that as a five star hotel I would have liked a standard double/king size bed and mattress!

BEST time ever at this hotel. 6 yo and 1yo and they both had the most amazing time, tears when we left therefore we booked up again a month later and the second time was even better than the first time - still tears when we left! Would defiantly recommend, entertainers are amazing with the kids. Rooms and food so good! Balcony door wasn’t locking, got fixed within minutes. Definite stay! We’ll be back next year too!

Took my 4 year old and 8 month old here early June and had the most amazing time! The hotel had absolutely everything you could need and the staff were so lovely and genuinely couldn’t help you enough, there were constant activities all day for children and adults. It was fairly busy pre summer holidays but in a good way - there was plenty of other children there for my son to make friends with and enough of an atmosphere to make your holiday exciting whilst also not having long queues for things like dinner or lifts etc. The hotel go above and beyond, if you’re planning a day out they can prepare you a lunch if you give them a days notice, there is a free shuttle bus to the beach every hour or so. Personally we found the food to be okay, it was a classic buffet so not the tastiest food necessarily but definitely good enough to eat and there was a constant variety all day. The drinks were delicious! You also get a free meal at both of the hotel restaurants on site which were amazing! Something to be aware of is the transfer from the airport is about an hour or so, it wasn’t a problem and was lovely and cool but just perhaps helpful to be aware of if you’ve got small children etc. Also a worry of mine pre-travel was whether the room would be cool enough but there was air con which we kept on the entire time and our room was like an ice cube - I loved it!! It was my first time to Portugal so I was slightly dubious but I can’t wait to return now! So glad we took the risk with somewhere new and chose this hotel specifically :)

So this was our first family holiday & completely different to our usual holiday ‘style’. Our wee girl was 18 months at the time, so too wee for the kids club but the entertainment staff are honestly the best team you could hope for; they were friendly & fun whenever we did encounter them and my wee one loved the mini disco each night - it brought this wee lockdown baby out of her shell massively! The entertainment team deserve a medal for the absolute effort and energy they put in every day. The place was spotless, from poolside to the communal areas, dining space and rooms. Immaculate. The cleaning staff were the friendliest we’ve ever met. We’ve already booked to go back next year & honestly think this will become our annual holiday until our wee girl is old enough to ask for Disneyland or something 😂 Absolutely loved it, the staff made it our first family holiday to remember

Nice hotel, food ok. swimming pool freezing. needs a taxi as hotel is so far away from everything Restaurant a nightmare kids running wild .Entertainment awful .Nice rooms comfortable bed. Food ok lunch is best meal.

great for kids, 5 good pools with 5 good slide to keep kids amused. very good food, only downside we found was the night entertainment for kids wasn't great. all outside, late for young kids & not the best.

Didn't feel like I needed another holiday after the journey home. No change of clock required from the UK. To use the lifts you press a key pad and it tells you the correct number lift to take. Lovely hotel.

Jupiter was amazing hotel is spotless, rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The staff at the hotel are the nicest iv ever had. They can’t do enough for you. Food was really good. Pools are brilliant. Perfufamily hotel. Definitely going back! Zoo marine tickets was the perfect day out. Hotel offers free shuttles to zoo marine, old town & the beach.

My husband, 4 year old son and myself stayed at the Jupiter Albufeira Hotel in June 2019 for 10 nights. We had a wonderful holiday and would certainly book again. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. The food was always of a high standard. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. My son was unfortunately sick during our stay and the staff could not have been more helpful and supportive. They organised for my husband and I to have meals brought up to our room. They arranged for a doctor to visit and assess him. They even arranged for the hotel mascot, Galli, to visit my son in our room. This cheered him up no end! (BTW, his illness was NOT linked to the hotel) The only issue I had was that the pools were so cold for the first few days but did seem to warm up towards the end of our holiday. It didn’t stop us from going in them every day! Overall a wonderful holiday. Thank you Jupiter!

We had a lovely holiday at this hotel-fantastic hotel overall and highly recommend. Very clean throughout, hard working and friendly staff and excellent choice of food. Our room was very plush and modern; best we have had abroad. Plenty of sun beds available every day therefore no need to reserve with towels and lovely pool area and great slides for older kids. Entertainment good and varied but not enough seating area if it was located inside hotel. Location of hotel was good, right by the Albufeira strip or ‘New Town’ which is busy at night with young crowds. Free bus to beach and Old Town which was great. Would recommend a day trip to Zoomarine. The only negative for us was that the swimming pools were very cold! Having them slightly heated would be beneficial especially for babies and young children.

I couldn't recommend this hotel enough for families. Amazing food, entertainment, staff, pools. This hotel has everything including friendly staff. Everything is clean and modern. The ONLY thing that was below average was the surrounding area, but with a hotel like that who cares. Free buses or uber will take you where you want to go
