Portodrach Apartments

Had a great time after initially hotel making a mistake with our room, upgraded us by mistake then asked us to pay for upgrade to stay! First night in wrong room then moved following day…not a great start. This was quickly forgotten and we had a fantastic time. Great hotel, food variety not great, staff lovely, fantastic location. Over all had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel.

We travelled for our annual holiday to this lovely hotel. We stated on a self catering basis and loved every minute of our time here. On arrival we were met by two lovely young male receptionists who were extremely helpful, the information given to us on arrival was very welcoming . Our accommodation was very nice, the apartment was large and inviting and well stocked in terms of dishes , cutlery etc...The beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom was lovely. The balcony was huge, holding 2 sun beds , table and chairs and even a small coffee table . Cleaners were in every day except Sunday. Bar staff were friendly. All reception team should be very proud of yourselves, nothing was too much trouble. They always had a friendly hello every single day - and even had time for a chat at this very busy hotel

Excellent Hotel the staff were lovely and the food was great. Porto Cristo is a lovely place to stay and the hotel is ideally situated but pay the extra to have a balcony with a harbour view. I would recommend this for couples or family and we would definitely holiday here again.

very basic. the apartment was clean. the staff were very nice. when we arived the lift to reception was not working so you have got to carry your cases 2 floors to reception(out of order all week) there was no ketlel in the room. had to go ask for one. it was very hot whilest we were there (great) so i ask for a brolly for our ballcony. it arived 3 days later at a cost of 20 $. there is no food or drink served round the pool area . we will not be going back. . it is not worth the money you pay for it.

Another gloriously relaxing week at this hotel. Perfectly placed overlooking the marina. Matt the manager remembered us from last year and very kindly gave us the same room at our request. Clean and functional kitchen and bathroom (with hairdryer) comfortable lounge with large TV with a few UK channels (didn't watch it much) Very large bed ( 2 singles) and plenty of wardrobe space. Small TV in here too. Fantastic enormous balcony with table chairs and a good parasol. 4 sunloungers and a small sofa. Watched the sunrise most days and then read on the balcony (small library of books in the corridor). Shade after about 2.30pm at the front of the hotel. Didn't use the pool or the restaurant as we walked into the town each night. Lovely friendly reception and housekeeping staff. We will go back again.

We'd booked a premium room with marina view and wow what a great view! The apartments were in a great spot. Being an early bird I loved watching the sunrise. The apartment was really modern and quite minimalist. A full kitchen, I even used the oven to cook a couple of pizzas, which was a bit different than the usual 2 cooking rings you get in self catering accomodation. Coffee machine, toaster, kettle all included. And a massive fridge-freezer which we filled up with ice-creams and a bag of ice. On arrival we were told that due to being in a premium room we had pool towels provided, and a welcome pack (which included basics like milk, juice, water, wine, beer, coke). There was also daily cleaning) The sunloungers on the balcony were great, and also a big round cushion-filled chair. Also a parasol and table & 4 chairs. Our room was above reception and the balcony was shady from 2.30pm. This made sitting out in the afternoon/evening very pleasant. I must mention the air con too, which was excellent, and had an easy control panel. The shower was a good one, and 2 sinks. Big powerful hairdryer. The beds were really comfy, and an extra TV in there. Could do with a full length mirror really. The only mirror was in the bathroom, so I was glad I took my folding one to do my face in. Safe in the wardrobe cost 2 euros/day, which is very reasonable. We caught the bus a few times (from the Caves of Drach stop behind the hotel) Very cheap up to Cala Bona/Cala Millor/Sa Coma/S'Ilot at 1.85 euros. We also visited the Caves of Drach (again), and it's worth going (15 euros per adult) I'd definitely recommend it, and would love to go back.

I could not fault this hotel, The staff were all friendly & helpful, Rooms were delightful and spotlessly clean, would definitely go back at some point, The only fault I have is that we had meal in the hotel, It was very bland ., Otherwise Everything was fine.

All I can say is - we didn't want to come home & we will definitely stay again. View beautiful. Restaurants close by. 5-10min walk to beach. We had marina view premium room with big balcony. Our room had pool towels & welcome pack of wine, beer, milk, crisps & cola. I took my own hairdryer, I couldn't see one in the apartment. Apartment v.clean. porto cristo is a lovely resort nice spanish feel to it & very relaxing. Caves of drach are 5-10min walk away. Boat trips leave from near the beach. Everything on your doorstep. Perfect!!

Would recommend Porto Drach for a weeks R&R. Very comfortable rooms. Would suggest Room only pension not B&B. The breakfast offered is ok but not for every morning The breakfast room is an unwelcoming room with no views, poor repetitive selection and poor coffee. Staff are very welcoming. Lots of places within walking distance where you can sit in the morning sun enjoying local food and mixing with the locals. Book a premium room, more expensive but if possible, its worth it. I would not recommend PD for young children or teenagers as there is only a pool but a a nice one. The hotel had a make shift bar room when we stayed but was not enticed to using it. The area is very quite a night. but during the day the noise from the boat yard could be annoying. It was ok for us as you can watch all the luxury boats and I mean luxury, being moved around, delivered for cleaning and wish one of them was yours. I would definitely go back for a week taking all above into consideration.

We had an apartment which was really large for 2 of us & a massive balcony which looked over the marina. The view was stunning. The apartment was always kept clean, the staff were so friendly & helpful. We never ate the hotel, but with so many restaurants locally there's plenty to choose from. The beach is only a short walk away and so is the town, along with the stunning caves of Drach.

Nice location in the harbour overlooking the boats..and strolling round the harbour for a lazy walk .laid back and quite easy to navigate no hassle from street sellers or lucky lucky men selling junk.

Great hotel very friendly staff ,room was big , very clean ,the only thing was the TV was small ,food was good but just warm as I like my food hot is the only falt with this hotel ,will go back great place to chill .
