Zafiro Menorca

Overall a great holiday destination for a family of 4. Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, good food (the pool bar for lunch was amazing), kids loved the entertainment, and only a 10 minute walk to the marina and beach. The only 2 issues were the room (swim up shared pool) were getting quite old and dated, and one of our kids has allergies. While the staff did what they could to help, it didn't feel like this was well managed or understood, leaving very little options for the little one at meal times. Would recommend Zafiro Menorca.

My husband and I stayed here with our two children (9 and 5) at the end of July for a week. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was enormous and really comfortable. We were in room 3111 which overlooked the pool, with the view slightly obscured by a big tree, which provided lots of leafy shade. The wet bubble was a huge success with the children, and they liked the pirate pool too, but said they felt this was better for slightly younger children. Pool bar food was excellent, and there was always something delicious in the buffet restaurant, although it did feel a little repetitive. Kids were in heaven mind you, as it offered all their favourites for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. The Spanish guy who ran the kids entertainment (sorry, don’t know his name) worked tirelessly from morning to night to make the kids happy and entertained. The kids club, although we didn’t use it, was always full of contented looking children. Would 100% return next year. Have given a 4 as it deserves a 4.5 but there’s no option. The only thing that slightly lets it down is the location. But the beach is not too far. This was the first time we have used Jet2 and we were very impressed. Would also book through them again too.

We stayed at this hotel with our 9 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stay and found the rooms quite spacious and they were regularly cleaned. However, I have knocked down a star due to the tiny kitchen which really isn't sufficient if you are self-catering. We considered upgrading to fully inclusive but decided not to as we felt there was limited food that we could eat due to being vegan and our daughter having coeliacs. We were advised to speak to the chef about our dietary requirements but this was difficult due to the language barrier. Also, I was not able to speak to the chef prior to the buffet being open. It would have been helpful if the food could have been labelled as vegan so I didn't have to keep checking. There were no deserts that we could eat either (probably not a bad thing!). We walked to the marina most days and tended to eat there. On a positive note, the hotel staff were friendly and we had a wonderful holiday. We would not return as we felt this hotel suited younger children and think our daughter would be a bit bored by the time she is 10. The hotel is in an excellent location and the weather in June was beautiful. Jet 2 Holiday's were fantastic and we will definitely book through them again in the future. The waterpark 'Aquarock' is worth a visit and it's worth arriving after 2.30 as it's half price. It's just a short walk to the waterpark.

The hotel was just as it looked in the promotional photos. The pools were great for children and everything is geared up for families to make everything as easy as possible. All the staff were helpful and friendly. They clearly work very hard to make everything run smoothly. The food was excellent with plenty to chose from and the children’s activities and entertainment were well received by all.

It was our first visit to the Zafiro Menorca and we were really impressed by this hotel. As a family with two small kids (4 and 1 year old), the hotel had everything you needed to keep the kids entertained. Accomodation was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The pools were great, especially the Pirate pool which was the perfect depth for my toddler. The all inclusive package was brilliant too - lovely choice of fresh tasty meals and a great selection of wines and cocktails. Fantastic value for money. We will be back :)

We have recently returned from our trip to the Zaviro hotel in Menorca. We had a really lovely time. The weather was great, the hotel spotlessly clean and the staff really friendly. It had a really nice atmosphere and the Entertainment team, run by Matthew were great. The lifeguard Carlos was great at entertaining the kids! We would definitely go back and would not hesitate in recommending. Really lovely holiday and would have stayed longer if we could have!

This hotel had just about everything needed for a great family holiday. If you don't want to leave the complex you don't have to but a 15 minute walk away is a lovely harbour with bars and restaurants. There's also an old fashioned lighthouse nearby which is a great place to watch the sunset. Crowds gather every night. The food is good, plenty of choice, hot and varied each night. The all inclusive drinks are good, the lager is Estrella which is seen as premium back home. We had very little to complain about. Our 6yo was kept entertained in an evening but the adult entertainment maybe could be improved upon. All in all we would have no problem returning

Wow, what a fantastic hotel. Just returned from a weeks holiday. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our appartment was clean and very spacious with modern furniture. The resort is quite compact and easy to access. I am disabled and found the whole site accessible except for the upper floor appartments. When I arrived they said they were changing my apartment as they saw my mobility issues. I first request this hit felt very grateful. The entertainment Staff worked so hard with children day and night. They were very interactive and you could see the children respected them. Snack bar was lovely and the main dining area was clean and regularly replenished with food. Waiters and waitresses cleared the plates and tables very quickly and would get you anything if you couldn't find it. One night there was a storm and the staff went out and collected umbrellas for guests to get from the dining area to the reception and vice versa. They got towels for those who got wet and placed toeelson the floor to avoid slipping. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was with a smile. This hotel is definitely top of its class and would go back tomorrow if I could ! It's well worth the money. I really cannot say anything against this hotel as I couldn't find any fault at all. If you are reading this review don't look anywhere else book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

We, a family of 4, our kids are 9 and 7, had a fantastic holiday here in August. We stayed for 11 nights and were Self catering. We cannot fault the hotel at all, the staff were all friendly and the animation team were amazing! Always on hand to cheer a moody 9 year old up and to make a whingey 7 year old kid smile and laugh! Andreas in particular made our holiday!! Our rooms were satisfactory for our stay and very clean, the self catering facilities were brilliant! We loved the fact that we had several swimming pools to choose from and the kids club was great. We walked to the harbour most nights for dinner, also took the bus to town and hired a car to go off the beaten track! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will most definitely consider coming back sometime in the future.

Can't fault the hotel, comfortable good size apartment rooms, great pool facilities, clean, lovely food, pleasant hard working staff. Kids entertainment team work tirelessly. Evening entertainment a bit hit and miss but not too bad. Would recommend all inclusive, great choice of food and drink, including premium brand spirits and nice cocktails.

Excellent all round holiday. Very friendly hardworking staff. Nice facilities and good kids activities with excellent entertainment staff. Food very good overall but hit or miss with selection on occasion. Kids loved the kids cocktails we loved the adults ones!! Great selection of drinks for all inclusive guests including bottled beers even included gluten free options. Staff helpful for this food wise too for other guests who were gluten intolerant.

Great accommodation, friendly staff. Nice layout. Plus points-Cocktails made to order, a great selection. An All inclusive where you can order from a menu, very unique in my experience. Great quality and variety of choice. Aimed at families and completely geared up to entertain your children, this was a relaxing holiday with a 3 year old in tow as she was so occupied by all on offer. The free ice-creams had a great choice and didn't need to opt for the paid for brand options. Pool side drinks served in high quality plastic glasses and if you drank prosecco, that was served in a flute, even poolside. Waiter service . All nice touches that made for a great family holiday.

Stayed here in September with my husband and daughter, our first family holiday and it was just perfect. Super friendly staff. Rooms was amazing big comfey bed and we had a lovely balcony. It's just the perfect family holiday will be back next year.
