Pirates Village

We arrived 1 am in the morning very tired checked in given key card wasnt told were room was we asked he just said thro there which was near pool he didn’t say were to go when we going d it was in darkness key card wouldn’t turn on lights I had to back to reception to get another card, didn’t know how cooker worked and when you plugged it in blew the electric fridge could do with a door shelve for bottled milk spilled everywhere as had to lay it down . Also last day our flight wasn’t until 23.30 pm was very hot no rooms available to rest or change out clothes into or get out of heat

Where do i start from walking in the doors we had a room change sat on the Toilet Seat it fell off , on the Balcony there was a Smashed Glass & a Dirty Towel Staff at Reception were very good & sorted it straight away Mo & Beverley were the only members of Staff who were friendly Bar Staff were really rude & be aware this Hotel is NOT fully inclusive therefore we bought drinks most of the time infact we bought 2 Bottles one Day whilst sitting around the Pool & a Male member of Staff would not take the Bottle Lids off for us we asked & he point blank said NO there was a fixed Bottle Opener behind the Bar Food was atrocious & at Dinner Food started at 1pm & one of the children in our Party had a bowl of Fruit taken from him at 12.58 pm which i found highly rude considering this is supposed to be a Family Orientated Hotel Not one of the Bar /Canteen Staff ever Smiled they were highly rude. Cleanliness in the Rooms were not very good at all from the Day of arrival there was spilt Coke on a bench & it was still there on the day of departure Electric card wouldnt work so was given another one second one was playing up so called Reception sent a cleaner up banged on the key card fob, did not even say hello, there you go bye or any contact which again was very rude! The astro turf around the pool was filthy. Also be aware that it is not noted it is a cash only hotel, no card payments at all. Would strongly not recommend this hotel.

We had a fab trip to Majorca staying in the Pirates Village resort. All staff were very polite and happy going about their work. The hotel is very clean. Every day we got sun loungers, which yes we did have to get up by 8.30/9 to get, but I didn’t feel like it was a mad rush to get downstairs to put our towels down at stupid o clock. Deeper pool opens at 10am, and there is a smaller pool by the slides which the kids can splash about in earlier than 10 am. 2 life guards on all day as well. The different depths of the pool was great, as our daughter who is 4 can’t swim, but could still jump in and splash about all day. We went all inclusive and loved the food, so much choice every day, we never got bored. There was sushi, salads, fish, chicken, pork dishes as well as joint of meat cooked. Fresh pizzas cooked daily, lovely fresh bread, the list goes on. Great we could help ourselves to drinks at the bar, soft and alcoholic. Also ice cream for kids. When the restaurant isn’t open you have a bar menu from 10-6, which we frequently ate from for an afternoon nibble. Beach and shops close by. Beach you can hire 2 sun loungers with shade for €13 for the day. Lovely bars on the beach as well. Our room was fine in the hotel for a couple and 1 child, who slept in bed with us, yes there is enough room. The entertainment was brilliant, the staff seem to really enjoy it too. Water fights during the day were fun and the disco and pirate shows were all fab. We will definitely return as well as recommended to our friends.

Took the whole family here and my youngest son wants to go every year with his children--Non stop entertainment from the pirate crew--including making the adults walk the plank !! Food was buffet style which suited everyone as plenty variety to suite everyone. Very clean throughout. The front of the hotel is amazing.

Got here on Saturday. Came as self catering. The fridge was totally broke. Yet was replaced With a brand new one within the hour. The pool although freezing cold is the central hub of the hotel. The kids just love the place. Water fights daily. Kids love the kids club. It’s a steady 3 star place. Not had any of the food but it does look good. Would deffo come back again just for the kids.

We had the best time at this hotel. Where do I start.... Very clean and modern. Staff are extremely friendly and bubbly. Food is amazing. So much choice in each setting. Something for everyone. Constant supply of ice cream and slush puppies which went down a treat with the kids. Entertainment is out off this world. So much goes into the shows. Quality acting. costumes etc. Entertainment crew are amazing. The pool is fantastic. Nice fake grass instead of tiles. Much safer. We can not wait to go back next year.

My partner and I took our nearly 2 year old for a summer holiday to this hotel for just under a week, all inclusive, and it was brilliant! We stayed in a one bed apartment, which was large, comfortable and clean. The food provided at meal times was absolutely delicious, and included a wide variety, with some different dishes each day. In my opinion the food is above 3 star quality, and was the best part of the holiday. The pools were good fun and big enough for all guests, with fun slides & water features for our little one. The only downside is that the pools were really cold, so our toddler caught a cold that he was quite poorly with most of the holiday. We went away in June so perhaps the hotter months may be better. Entertainment provided in the evenings was great, with a show on each night. The hotel is also in a great location, with loads to do in the area if you wanted to leave the hotel and a lovely beach was a short stroll away. It was all just really great!

Great hotel for children and kids entertainment amazing - travelled with 4,5 &7 year old who loved it so much they want to go back next year. Kids club was brilliant and the kids actually asked to go at times. Alex and Lucas we amazing with the kids from basketball to water fight all the way through to the night entertainment they could do more for the children if they tried. Alex always refers to my children with their name and always stopped to chat. Mo was brilliant and always around if needed and made herself know to both me and the children although we had such a lovely experience we never needed or wanted for anything. Food was average could have been a little more choice but basic and fine. Drinks are self service so no waiting around for bar staff just pour your own beer soft drinks etc. Would recommend to family and friends. We stayed in a new room with bu k beds with slides and ropes for the children along with led lighting changing colour our kids over it. Near the beach and shops if needed but everything you need right there

On arrival at the hotel we were met by a very friendly, helpful jet 2 employee. Unfortunately that was the highlight. On our way to the room a fire alarm was hanging from the wall with exposed wire. On entering the room we found kitchen units falling to pieces, the cot for our 20month old son was worn away with metal frame work exposed. The rubber was missing from door stoppers leaving dangerous metal pins sticking from floor. There was metal air conditioning units on balcony with sharp corners just at head height for a toddler. Our bedroom furniture looked like it had been chewed to bits and was falling apart. Our balcony was positioned directly above main stage again not ideal for a toddler as music was blaring all night. In the end we only stayed one night and move the next day, paying for a new hotel ourself. Very disappointing

Overall this hotel is excellent for familys would defo go back, entertainment was great, bt the beds are a bit hard, didnt really sleep well need to invest in new mattresses was comfy on the settee then beds
