PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa

We have been warmly welcomed and check in promptly. Despite busy time, customer relations representative Maxi took it upon herself to help us to our room herself, she took a break from her desk duty and drove us herself. What an initiative. We felt very welcomed from arrival. No question was a problem. Everyone was smiling and helpful. Activities were geared towards all group ages. Plenty of pool amenities and additional sauna. Food was great and drinks at the bar even better. A la carte restaurant food was fresh and delicious. Drink of a day was a lovely suggestion. Ice cream and water readily available with no charge. Room was clean and in great condition. Ducks in the pool were quite a sight every morning, seems everyone was enjoying the hotel. Birdwatching point was a nice touch. We have stayed during Hallowen and let me tell you the hotel went above and beyond making sure everyone had fun/good scare. This was the last week before the winter season but we felt like any other week, staff were great and everyone was having fun till the end of the season and putting 100% in customer care. Highly recommend. We might come back again.

We enjoyed our few days here. The restaurants were both good with a wide selection to accommodate most tastes. Our room was very nice and fairly modern with tea & coffee, fridge and TV. I am coeliac so need a strict gluten free food and I did feel some of the kitchen staff were a little unhelpful with supplying me with the necessary information so I knew whether I could eat something or not. The restaurant managers however were very helpful and happy to find out for me what was in certain items and I did manage to eat well without getting ill. There is nothing else nearby the hotel so we were pleased we had chosen to go half board. There is however a bus stop at the hotel and it is easy enough to catch buses to either Puerta Pollensa or the other way to Alcudia for just a few euros - they go every half an hour and you can just pay on a bank or credit card. There is also a shop on site selling some food and souvenirs. We visited the spa which was really good and spent a lovely few hours there.

We’ve been to hotel several times as we go to Mallorca for the cycling. If you’re a cyclist, this place is perfect because of the proximity to the “camis” - quiet, country roads - and on site bike hire up to top line bikes. If you’re not a cyclist this is still a fantastic place. The location means a ten minute bus ride (buses outside the hotel every 20 mins) in either direction takes you to Alcudia old town or Puerto Pollensa. Both good for restaurants! The breakfast is excellent (we only do B & B so can’t speak for dinner) and you have a choice of two restaurants - one being adults only. There is also an adults only pool adjacent to it. The family pool has everything that kids would want. There is an excellent gym (a lot of triathletes use this hotel) and a 3 or 4 lane, full length pool next to it. The gardens are beautiful and the accommodation has several different tiers, from basic to suite so something to suit everyone’s budget. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and I can’t really criticise the place at all. The only downside is, if you want close proximity to a Sandy beach then you need to up in Puerto Pollenca.

Lovely hotel set in Beautiful Gardens. The facilities cater for everyone from young Children to Adults who like a bit odf quiet time on the Adults only side of the complex. Our package included 90 mins a day each in the Spa, which was so relaxing. Other facilities included Bike hire, Scuba Diving, Wind Surfing plus much more. Will definitely be returning

It is not like a normal hotel with floor on floor of countless high rise rooms.It is set amidst tropical gardens of good quality suites and villas with an abundance of wildlife ponds especially after 10.00pm echoing to a chorus of frogs and crickets and is just wonderful to hear. Food wise the paella was a little bit repetitive but generally the food was of a good standard.No complaints apart from signing for all drinks on an all inclusive basis as opposed to the normal wristband.

From the start of our journey to the last day of our trip we had amazing experience and unforgettable memories, friendly, polite and helpful staff, great food and atmosphere. I will recommend and for sure we are going back soon. Only thing we didn't like that much was the room but it was ok.

We’ve stayed here for more than 10 years, every Spring, for a week to 10 days. The more expensive rooms are nicely done, the facilities are clean and well kept and the food is plentiful and fresh if somewhat bland. The service is variable. Some of the staff are very personable but others clearly don’t really understand customer service and are overworked and undertrained. The Customer Service Manager is quite annoying: she will come round the dinner tables and tell you that everything is wonderful, “isn’t it?” And when you ask her for something to be sorted she has to “talk to the management” about it which is code for “not happening”. Anyway, she is balanced out by a few really bright and brilliant young staff who actually care and as long as you stay away from the reception staff (who generally adopt an aggressive attitude as a first position), you can have a very lovely holiday here.

This is the third time I have stayed here for the Clubs cycling training week. Sadly my room this year was much smaller than in previous years and having paid more money. Even so the resort is first class with regard to training - perfectly located for great cycling days out. With regard to the Triathletes in the club they find the swimming facilities also first class. The SPA for end of day relaxation is perfect - even though you need to kick the nudists out of the sauna and send them back to there own area!!! All told a great week with plentiful and varied food options each night. Will more than likely be returning again next year.

Was very nice, but not really for the family break. There wasn’t any for children organised and my oldest daughters was very upset playing only snooker. Massage was very nice, customer service superb. But to many sports people and this hotel is definitely for them not for families.

Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Port Blue Pollentia, the entire holiday experience was superb. The service from the staff was top notch. Right from the check-in, excellent quality of the food at lunch, breakfast & dinner was delicious and the choice was endless. Also recommend the Aquarius bar for food & drink at the pool. Nicely situated too....short journey from Alcúdia & Pollentia town. Would recommend that you visit Pollentia one day. Hint - go All Inclusive, - definitely worth it to enjoy your holiday!

The positives first. Lexi our cleaner who was so kind, friendly and helpful. She is a credit to the place and deserves all the rewards she can get. Monica in the main restaurant, who made good friends with our kids and was the model of a kind, warm professional. And Carmen, also in the main restaurant, who is the hardest working and most cheerful person I've seen in a restaurant. The resort is beautiful, well-designed and well-maintained. The food in the restaurants was on the whole very good quality and good value - the only negative were the snacks at the pool bar which was a small selection of quite depressing short-cut food. The negatives: it was just so, so crowded. Although the pool rules show you're not allowed to reserve loungers, on the only two occasions we wanted to hang by the pool every single lounger was reserved (two hundred of them perhaps), by about 10am, and all day long. So we didn't really spend much time in the resort after that, just ate breakfast there before going out for a quick drive to one of the beautiful nearby beaches. We didn't use the Adults Only restaurant or spa as we wanted to hang out with our kids, but in all honestly we were put off from using the spa by the ridiculously high price of E70 for a massage :D No welcome/info pack? On check-in, we were told how to get pool towels and connect to wifi, and given a piece of paper with the dining times on it. Other resorts provide maps, 'how to' info, room service menus, instructions for TV, door locking, laundry, phone numbers...but there was none of this which was a real shame. The hotel manager, whom I encountered a couple of times on the enquiry desk when I had questions about these things, was also quite brusque and almost rude, I didn't get her name unfortunately. The breakfast and evening buffet were very very good, and the evening buffet was good value. But again, because it was so busy we tended to eat out most nights and only ate in 3 times. The room itself was quite comfortable, but we've stayed in lower cost accommodation in other Spanish resorts and had a lot more for our money. There was no kitchen area and only a tiny fridge, very small shower/toilet, and a double room really needs a proper double bed in my book - not two hard singles. We were also kept awake most nights by people coming back from the bar. So, we were impressed with the resort itself, but it was far too busy and we really only used it to sleep and eat breakfast.

We spent 4 days at this resort. We used the adult only pool and restaurant for the entire time we were there. Although the hotel was very busy, there was plenty of staff to look after you and we never had any issues finding a spot by the pool or a table in the restaurant.

We have just returned from the Club Pollentia resort - our eighth visit! We normally visit over Spring Bank holiday (end of May) when the weather is a little cooler and we noticed the difference this time. There were fewer triathletes and cyclists (probably as a result of the warmer weather) and more families. We absolutely love Pollensa as a resort and this hotel is situated between Pollensa and Alcudia - not directly on the beach, but fine if you can cycle/walk and also very interesting as it is in a conservation area with lots of wild birds, flora and fauna. In terms of feedback: the resort is beautifully landscaped and accommodation is in either single storey of two-storey blocks. There is an "adult only" zone, which accommodates holiday makers who want a more peaceful time. There are two "adult only" pools, although these did not seem to be "policed" very well. I enjoy swimming and was frustrated that the enforcement of wearing swimming caps seemed far more rigorous than the application of the adult only policy. Children regularly used the adult only zones and restaurant, which was irritating at times (we went as a couple). At mealtimes in the adult restaurant, children under 12 years of age were allowed in and weren't supervised particularly well by their parents. As the restaurant was buffet style, this was off-putting, as some children had a habit of picking up food and then putting it back on display (gross!) The staff at the resort were universally friendly and helpful and very responsive to clients. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival as valued repeat customers, which was a really nice touch. Some reviewers have complained about the location of the hotel and accessibility to a beach. If you want easy access to a sandy beach, this is probably not the resort for you. A walk into Pollensa takes around 45 minutes, Alcudia town takes about 40 minutes. There is a regular bus service and the hotel does offer a shuttle service, but we didn't use this. We like the resort because it offers the freedom of having your own room with facilities such as a fridge and tv, and the option of dining in the restaurant. The space/footprint of the grounds is generous, so you can enjoy a pleasant walk in the landscaped grounds without having to leave the complex. There's an excellent bike hire shop on site with a wide range of mountain bikes and road bikes - for both amateur cyclists and professionals. We LOVE this place :)
