Marvell Club Hotel and Apartments

For our family holiday, 18 month old and 5 adults, this hotel was ideally suited to all our needs. Both adult and children's pools were really good and there were plenty of sunbeds for the amount of guests, even in the May school holidays. In addition to enough beds and no awkward sunbed fights, there's plenty of space between beds and pool too. Rooms are good and the reception area and bar modern and clean. The staff were really helpful and the half board meals were really good, with good selection of wines on offer too. Although it's a 40 min walk to the main town/marina, there is a water taxi very close by and many nice local bars/restaurants and sports bars available if you want to hang around closer to the hotel.

This hotel is amazing!!! Staff are the absolute best there⭐️ Massive shout out to Cash the best entertainer and Wander the life guard that entertained us everyday by the pool. This was my second time at this awesome hotel and have booked for a 3rd time next year😊

On arrival the transfer bus drops you off a little way from the hotel, only a couple of mins walk due to the one way streets and to be honest at first i thought oh no because the streets do look a little tired. Once entering the hotel reception my thoughts changed dramatically because the hotel was very nice and spotlessly clean, the hotel receptionist checked us in (10mins) and were very pleasant to deal with. Our room was on the 3rd floor which is the top which had a sea view to die for, this was a 1 bedroom apartment to sleep 2 adults a 17 year old and a baby of 6 Months, there was enough space for us but maybe next time we may opt for a 2 bedroom apartment if we were to stay longer than the 4 nights we had here. Room was spotless with great size bathroom and everything you need. Once unpacked we headed down to the outside bar area on the raised veranda overlooking the main pool, we ordered pizza, chips, wings, garlic bread and a few beers with the bill coming to around 60 euro so pretty much on par with the UK, the food, beer was lovely. On that evening we headed down to the main restaurant for our evening meal which again was superb, plenty to choose from and the staff in there can't do enough, as soon as you sit down somebody is there to take your drink order and pots are cleaned away once finished. Food prep area was always clean and tidy, the chefs were out every 10-20 mins cleaning if there were any spillages. Chefs always show cooking fresh meats & fish. Next morning we headed down to the restaurant for breakfast, again plenty of choice and service great. Freshly squeezed orange juice which was nice. After breakfast we headed to the children's pool around 0930am, plenty of sun loungers available and every 3rd bed had an umbrella which is great if you have young children with you, pool area spotless. you can either buy food and drinks from the pool bar area (Same as UK prices) or from the on-site supermarket which had a wide range of food and drinks available, this was nice because you can get drinks from the shop and then purchase a plastic pint pot from the bar full of ice for 1 euro. Some people complain about this but i think this is very reasonable considering the drinks in the shop are a fraction of the bar prices. Overall this hotel has excellent service, is extremely clean and I would recommend. One thought though, just remember this is San Antonio so if you are travelling in July/August you will get party people around in the early hours

The hotel is probably one of the best in the area. It was clean and spacious and staff were friendly. The pool areas are excellent and when we went in mid June there were no problems getting a sun lounger. Evening entertainment was a good standard apart from Bingo, which should be banned on holidays in my opinion, however there's plenty more in San Antonio and surrounding streets to keep you entertained. My only criticisms would be that the food selection was repetitive and frequently not hot enough. If this was improved upon this truly would be a 4* hotel. The rear of the hotel where the snack bar is located overlooks the sea, so I find it very strange that this area is not opened in the evening so that you can watch the sun go down whilst having a drink, which is one of the main attractions of San Antonio bay. It seems to me they are missing a trick here. The room we had was a family room which was perfect for the children and spacious, unfortunately the room fridge was quite small for a family of 4 and there was no bin in the room aside from the tiny bathroom pedal bin. Also some sort of recycling policy should be in place surely with the amount of single use plastics that are gone through on holiday nowadays. Some thoughtful trouble shooting would make this a must return hotel, but overall very good standard.

Rooms were lovely, clean spacious and modern. Free safe, cleaned daily. Pool area was very clean, kids area very good for 0-6 years old. Activities 6 days a week and entertainment every night. Food was fine, plenty variety, something for everyone. Kids buffet. Have to walk for most of the nightlife but theres bars around and the water taxi is close by. Overall ideal for a young family stay.

A nice clean and friendly hotel, best suited to young families. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ate in the hotel, mainly for breakfast. The dining room was a little on the cold side, but this was probably because it is early June. Overall a very nice hotel.

There are not many hotels that have 100% positive reviews. The negative reviews here relate to before the hotel was completely renovated: it seems brand new.From the moment you enter the hotel with its large, high atrium and perfumed AC you are totally impressed.The food is very fresh with a good rotation of daily meals . The swimming pool is excellent. Staff great.It is closed for winter from October 15 to May 2nd, 2019. San Antonio is disappointing but there are frequent and inexpensive buses to old Ibiza town which is delightful. There is a sandy beach just 15 minutes walk from the hotel.Jet2 service was also 5*.

Very clean hotel, staff all fabulous iv stayed twice this year both rooms exceptional, I don't have a bad thing at all about this hotel. Great breakfast times so if you want a longer lie you can breakfast was served from 8 til 10.30 and evening meal was 7 00 till 10.30. Would recommend for both families and couples. My first stay was with my mum gran and grandad. second visit was with my husband there was a fantastic kids section at the pool too

A fantastic modern hotel for both couples and families. Clean and tidy throughout. Spacious clean and tidy rooms. Lovely pool area. Fantastic food with plenty of choice. Didn't see any entertainment as was out so can't really comment on that. Staff were friendly and there was a kids life guard /entertainer on hand to keep them occupied.

Food very poor, always cold and selection not varied enough. Pool area kept nice and clean no problem getting a lounger. One big problem were on a daily basis seeing a middle aged couple almost making out in the pool when there so many families and children around and no-one told them to stop.

This hotel is modern and kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good but the evening meal needs improving. Only one vegetable option. Food was lukewarm. The staff were excellent. There is a lifeguard on duty all day in the pool area. Plenty of sun loungers. Surrounding area is not the best. If you are looking for an upmarket holiday then this is probably not the area to come to. There is a lovely beach about a 15 minute walk away.

We stayed at the Marvell hotel on the 18th June for a week The hotel was so spacious and spotlessly clean the room was amazing and we had a lovely sea view we stayed in a superior double room and it had a kettle and fridge so it was ideal for us to store our 1 year old babys milk. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us they made a big fuss over our little girl and she loved it ! . The food was lovely and fresh and very varied . We found some lovely beaches and it was easy to get the little taxi boat over to San Antonio and other places We would definitely stay here again we loved every bit of it and didn't want to go home !
