Coral Star Hotel & Apartments

Really lovely friendly staff who went out of the way to help with anything we needed. A few problems which were dealt with straight away. Pools were fabulous and our room was really big and spacious and very clean. Only slight problem we had was to plug in the kettle the socket was away from the kitchen area so we had to stretch the wire across which was not safe when children are there. Food was good with plenty of choice. Overall really loved this hotel and would definately go back.

Nice hotel but staff were very ignorant, with the exception of one young man (Jesus) he was very nice. The dining room staff were terrible and it was gut wrenching when I saw food (sausages) been taken from a dirty plate and placed on a clean plate then a napkin over the top and wheeled back into the kitchen, only one thing why I think they would do this is to put back out for others. The kebab meat they offered was not fit for a dog! Cleaners were lovely and smiley and did a good job. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back to Ibiza.

We had a good holiday, but we are good at just getting on with it! What really let's this hotel down is it's 'school style canteen'. You go on holiday to chill, dress up on an evening and have a relaxing evening meal, but this hotels restaurant is anything but relaxing!!! You have to sit in a really noisy, crammed in restaurant with no natural light, it really feels like a school or work canteen. Such a shame, as they have a perfectly good outside dining area, but only open it for breakfast. Such a shame, this area being open on an evening would have been fantastic. The food is ok for the star rating, but can be a bit of an odd mixture of foods sometimes, and the vegetarian options are very few. They could easily do more vegetarian but they have an odd habit of throwing a handful of ham or meat on top of everything just for the sake of it, even the cheesy jacket potatoes! Lol! The themed evenings definitely have the best food. Best part of this hotel is how clean it is! No complaints at all, our room was spotless. The staff work extremely hard and are really friendly. The clientele are a real mixture of normal, nice well behaved adults/families to people who are there only to get drunk, leave their rubbish around and make you ashamed to be British! Makes for good people watching though. The WIFI is useless, don't believe what they say about it being throughout the hotel, it generally only works in the reception area. No inflatables allowed in the pool, which works really well. The pools are good, especially the kids splash one. There is a sunbed rush, but everyone is good natured and has a laugh about the whole situation, to be honest it's more a rush for the umbrellas. Air conditioning excellent. Best beach about 15 minute walk away. Overall a good holiday but we paid too much for what it was.
