Unique Residence Hotel Golf & Spa formerly Wyndham Residences

Too many wasps and nothing done to alleviate the problem. (Burning cinnamon does not help) food not cooked thoroughly and usually undercooked. Rooms were of an ok size but the beds were really hard. Beware they use the sewerage water to water the garden so tends to be very smelly when they doing them. Staff were great but you can tell they are paid badly due to the amount of tip boxes dotted everywhere (to help boost their pay) it was OK as a first family holiday since lockdown but would not go again.

Resort on edge of golf grub but little else available unless you have a car. Regular shuttle to beach, which is about 30 minutes away (depending on traffic). Food was ok, but sometimes dishes were lukewarm unless you got it from outside bbq area. The big pool was very busy, but there were small pools near most units. Very hilly and a lot of walking, so not a good place if less mobile. We had one bedroom with lounge, kitchen was fully fitted but only a few glasses and cups, presume if self catering they would be better supplied.

Travelled with jet 2 from Newcastle, easy check in, Hotel Rooms spacious and clean, staff brilliant, family of 5, food and drinks good, resturant on an evening a little choas and not enough staff, but soon get used to it. Pools nice and clean, pool bar at pines brilliant, would definitely returrn. Resort a little isolated but plenty of taxis and shuttle services.

pretty basic! Food was bland, the same most nights and average, entertainment was basic and average. The room was disappointing, we have a baby and had paid for the most expensive apartment, but when arriving our room was up 2 massive hills, the block at the very end, and on the very top floor with NO LIFT! There was no way we could have carried the baby and buggy and all out other belongings up and down the stairs and hills every single day. When we asked for a more appropriate room, we were told that the room we paid for was the superior and these were only available on the very top floor of all the blocks because they had a roof terrace! If the Jet2 website had stated this we would not have paid the extra for this room! Eventually we were moved to a ground floor apartment which was better as it looked out onto the communal pool for our block. The room was nice but we had no amenities (bowls and cups etc) when we asked for some for the baby we were told we had to take what we needed from the restaurant and carry them back ourselves! Our bath was pretty much falling apart and leaked all over the floor every day. The beds were pretty uncomfortable! We all woke up with back ache every morning! The pool was good, but freeeeeezing!!! We travelled in May. The slides in the pool were very good, the kids absolutely loved this part of the holiday. The location of the hotel wasn’t great for us, we got bored of the food very quickly and it would have been nice if ANYTHING was in walking distance so we could eat elsewhere, but it is simply on the top of a mountain side with only motorway roads around it. It is no where near anything! The beach is too far, the town is too far! Overall I don’t think I would recommend this hotel for people that want to be able to leave the resort unless your happy to pay for travel everyday! Although I would say the shops in the hotel are very good! The handbag shop / jewelers / clothes shop were fantastic! Very friendly and good prices! The look of the resort itself is beautiful, always lots of sunbeds too. The service was pretty poor too! The cleaners could not speak a word of English and only came twice during the whole week!

Just returned from the clc and it was lovely, staff are helpful, hotel is clean, the rooms are kept clean by the maids, good play park for the kids and also good slides, quite hilly but the bell boys give you a lift back to your rooms If needed, food was ok, you could find something to eat, but not alot of choice, the rooms are nice and big, downside, is the beds, they are rock solid, not comfortable at all.
