Ocean Blue Hotel

From other reviews and photos I was really excited to stay at this hotel, but when we arrived I was so disappointed, first we did check in, and we arrived in the middle of the night, on arrival as pre booked we checked there would be a cot for my daughter, which they seemed suprised about and said no, we can’t get one till tomorrow, I said I needed one tonight as otherwise she has nowhere to sleep as she’s 1 year old, they proceeded to say they didn’t have one, and I continued to say if I you don’t have one we can’t sleep and it’s the middle of the night ! Eventually I was found a broken one which we was told to use for the night and then would be replaced the next day. The room we were in also had no balcony and had steps leading up to It, which is really not ideal when you have a pushchair and a small child, meaning I could not let her into the balcony at all, nor was I ever able to sit on it. Breakfast we only went to once as it was really Basic. For what we paid I would of expected so much more this hotel looks nothing like the photos the room was very worn and had a broken towel rail, shower was dirty and door frame Was coming off.

We have holidayed in Hisaronu numerous times, but this has to be the best one yet! We normally stay in apartments or villas, but this hotel was fantastic, fabulous location, 3 minute walk to the strip, but still very quiet, we were B&B nice but we aren't big on breakfast so didn't really sample much. Omer and Memet were second to none in fact all the staff were very friendly and attentive, If you want excursions then Tiny Acropol is your man, we have used him every time we visit Turkey. Make sure you leave plenty of room in your luggage for the genuine fake clothes, shoes and bags, great quality! Hairdressers are great value too, I always go to Hair by Nico and a cut colour and highlights cost £50! We can't wait to go back again next year. 10/10. Another tip is to take Sterling and Lira, they take both.

What a lovely hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you . Special mention to Rifat and Mehmet who both helped to make our holiday special . Great location only a few minutes walk from the centre of Hisaronou.

Excellent Hotel food and service were excellent and staff couldn't do enough for you.Room was spotlessly cleaned every day. Swimming pool area and restaurant were brilliant everything was so clean.Thank you to all staff who worked so hard looking after the guests.Can't wait to return. Very central for shops etc.

Not a 4 star high class hotel, found the hotel to be very clean overall but the room we were in had mould in the toilet ceiling and the tiles in the shower were ready to fall off, wallpaper in the room was starting to peel off and past its sell by. service by the pool bar staff was terrible the barman Mustaf was always busy playing with his phone and was not customer friendly, the waiter who looked to be in charge Niyazi spent his time playing pool or on his phone while Sertag and Ibrahim the 2 young guys did all the running about serving the customers, we on 2 occasions walked out of the poolside bar due to bad or lack of service and ate outside the hotel especially after seeing one girl with he fingers taking a fly out the food.The worst and most annoying thing was the music it was the bar staffs choice it went up loud all the time when they liked a tune stopped in the middle of a track if they didn't like it or turned it down. I complained as did others but they just pleased themselves, there were staff throwing other staff in the pool, a lot of young staff who seemed more interested in having their own fun than seeing to the guests. it seems like its the staff that run the hotel NOT the management
