Eftalia Aqua Resort

The hotel is good, not a 5 stars, but solid 3plus. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, restaurant is nice, food average (not too bad, but not great, we've always found something tasty, desserts are amazing); pools and gazebos are brilliant, water parks are great, especially on the island; really lots to do; beach is well organised but sand and water are looking dirty and messy - its tourists fault... we enjoyed the holiday

The hotel itself was fine. Staff (on the whole) were friendly and housekeeping frequented daily. The food was mediocre but to a certain extent, that is to be expected in an All Inclusive resort as it is mass produced. Generally we always found something to eat. The queueing system in the restaurant needs some work as people stood too close together especially as we are in the middle of a pandemic. Staggered meal times would have been safer. The pool was clean and although I didn't use the pools down at the Island, they looked fun. Although there was no evening entertainment, there were plenty of other guests to sit and socialise with. A special mention needs to go to Derya (entertainment) who worked hard to keep guests entertained from water aerobics to darts. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. I wouldn't return but that is purely because I don't believe in frequenting the same place time.

Full of abrupt arrogant Russians, need more security in hotel, staff not very helpful at all, had no towels in room, electricity kept tripping with faulty plug socket, pool was closed on few occasions

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Eftalia Aqua Resort as we were meeting family out there to celebrate a birthday. The resort itself was really nice and along with the ‘Island’ - it’s a really big resort with loads of greenery, pools, slides and things to do. Our room was nice and the maids cleaned and changed our bedding and towels daily. Only downside to the bedroom was none of the TV channels were in English, not a massive issue to the holiday but at times when we couldn’t sleep and just wanted to watch some TV we couldn’t. Wifi is shocking unless you sit in the reception (believe me there was a lot of kids sat in the reception on their iPad’s and phones). Out and about the Island you can catch wifi but it’s not very good, so if you need your phone you’ll have to have some mobile data. There’s a lot of choice for the food but me and my partner weren’t too keen, however there is enough choice even it means just having fruit and soup. The island has some food spots which are open between 12-4 including pizza, burgers, chicken wings and waffles as well as other food stalls dotted around – the ques for these are massive so you have to hit the right time! Oh and free ice-cream between 12-4 and you get huge scoops! There’s loads to do at the hotel for kids, water activities in the pool, foam parties and loads more activities which are free as well as paid water sports on the beach. We rented a gazebo on the beach for a couple of days whilst we were there as it was so hot and we wanted some shade, they’re definitely worth the money. One thing I would definitely recommend is the spa! They will start with crazy prices but you can barter them down considerably. My boyfriend had a Turkish bath and I had a massage, €40 in total for both of us and definitely the highlight of our holiday. We also went in the mud baths over on the island, which are great for kids because they don’t smell like the traditional Turkish mud baths. As with any country there’s loads of staff wandering around trying to sell you pictures of yourselves, water sports, shisha and anything else you can think of which can get a little annoying at times. There are quite a lot of staff members which don’t speak English which can make it tough at times to communicate but we never found it too much of an issue. Only one person at the reception, waiting for check in one hour, a large salad bar everyday the same food, large queues for food at any time. very poor choice of food for children on main meals, chicken nuggets or pizza available only in snack bars open until 16.00. a large selection of swimming pools and slides for children and adults, slides open from 10.00 to 12.00 and 13.30 to 17.00.

From start to finish I could not have asked for more from this holiday Excellent staff who could not do enough to help you, going that extra mile, excellent service, food was unbelievable, take time to explore the resort as you will notice something new everyday

Just back from a fantastic 11 nights at Eftalia aqua. myself, husband and 3 children 17, 13 and 9 were so pleased with activities, pools, food and the staff was amazing. Jet2 rep was also really good and very helpful .can't wait to return in future.

Excellent place for family of all ages, never seen such hospitality and generosity in all members of staff. I was worried about my fussy eating family, but there was so much choice no worries at all would definitely go back amazing holiday.
