Eftalia Downtown Hotel

As a family of 6 (4 adults/2 older kids) on a self catering holiday this was a nightmare. A Jet 2 holiday that Looked amazing for what we could afford. From the second we arrived we complained that this was totally unacceptable.2 bedrooms.1 with a double bed,1 with two single beds. Other beds?2 Sofas in our sitting area with the most uncomfortable mattresses you could imagine! Our cooker was a 2 ring camping stove! Almost all our holiday money had to be given to the hotel to provide our breakfast and dinner as we couldn't afford to eat out all the time.. Not what we had planned or budgeted for! Jet 2 solution? We will give you a free meal on the airplane on your next holiday

Great central location without being right in the city, around 15-20 minute walk to the main centre but all along one road so very easy to find. Taxis around as well so easy to get around. Beach across the street - get your ticket for a beach bed from reception as it is cheaper than on the beach. Room was fine, did have an issue at one point but was sorted by reception staff promptly. Pool is smaller than it looks and loses sun in the late afternoon. Really enjoyed my stay, would recommend and return - solo rooms tend to be the ones with little view however!

Overall the hotel and its facilities wrre very good, but on arrival we were given a temporary room which we had to change in the morning, the new room we wrre given then hadn,t been prept. So you are then asked to go away somewhere while they prep the room. Its all a bit annoying when you are so tired & judt want to get settled.Tip, wee found the hotel food & drnk to be the best around for value for money.

A great location adjacent from the beach. The room was nice, modern and really clean. The maid service was regular and thorough. The staff weren't over friendly but were helpful and happy to chat when approached. I was Bed & Breakfast and the breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh food throughout the breakfast period.

Amazing holiday with my girlfriend. we had the best room facing the beach/mountain and castle. The staff were good. Use tripadvisor to find a good restraunt as our best two were on the last two nights-marbella beach and olivias and would recommend them both if your half board and want some lunch as the breakfast/evening meal is nice but by the end of a week we was bored of the same foods. Also its worth doing the turkish bath and spa treatments!

I have just got back from my jet 2 holiday to alanya turkey. The holiday was amazing. The hotel was exceptionally clean but food, staff and trying to find stuff is ridiculous. The flight was OK however the luggage handling staff broke my pram. Not just once but twice. So first the hotel... Eftalia aytur.... Room number 2212 Fantastic room, great views and the maids do a great job! The food.. I wouldn't feed it to a stray animal so if your thinking of going anything more than room only the look elsewhere. You can eat out fairly cheaply near by. It was advertised that there was entertainment once a week but we had nothing. The staff... If you don't speak turkish or German then learn some. I had to wait 40 minutes one day to speak to the only member of staff that spoke a little English. My toilet leaked urine out of the back and wasn't fixed throughout our stay even after complaining 4 times. I had asked 3 times where the indoor pool was and also the 2 childrens pools as advertised however was just told outside by the bar. We searched but nothing!! The hotel is in a lovely location though. Just call jet2 and was told we don't deal with complaints over the phone only email. After stating my opinion on this matter the guy hung the phone up on me!! Cheap holidays, great locations but staff and accommodation not great!!.
