Good hotel the room we stayed required a major upgrade, If you want a family hotel with entertainment for children this is the one all done in Spanish. Food okey the hotel rates itself 4 star I rate it no more than 3

Worth booking the superior room with seaview, its stunning!. Its got adequate little gym, sauna, steam room and spa pool with jacuzzi for a little extra costs for those cloudy days. The food is just average and samey but plentyful. The staffs are hits and misses some could do with a smile or two. Overall We had a good experience.

1st time in Almeria, always look for 4* HB hotels. Sabinal nice & clean with great self serve restaurant. What let it down was, loads of Spanish nationals puffing fags in your face, entertainment highly Spanish speaking/singing, no room sound proofing (had Spanish family with 3 kids next door - typical gobby mother) and one of those hotels where you can here anything that goes P in the night.

just returned from a weeks holiday in this hotel ,Despite some reviews I did not find that Spanish guests got better service. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent view of the pool and sea.Good selection of food Would advise to book a Superior room with sea view !!.

Not sure how this hotel boasts 4 stars! The pool and restraunt are too small when the hotel is anything like full capacity. The food was ok but not great. Same food churned out at most meal times and barely warm. Big queues every meal time. Poor quality “local” drinks for the all inclusive guests. Lots of Spanish guests at this hotel when we visited and they seemed to get preferential treatment.

We have been to Sabinal hotel roquetes five times. The hotel is central to shops bars restaurants and it is also situated on the beach. Our room was marvellous it had a large bedroom and a very large balcony looking over the sea. It is cleaned everyday. The food is good and everywhere is spotless. The people who work are very friendly especially our cleaner. The only thing I would say against is there are not enough brollies for the amount of sunbeds, and it would be nice if now and again the announcements could be made in English but overall an excellent hotel.

Stayed at the recently refurbished Hotel Best Sabinal, the location of the hotel is excellent, however. I do not think that this is a 3* plus hotel. The dining room was in chaos most days, coffee machines no sugar and milk at each location, bread not near toasters, food not replenished regularly when containers empty. No air conditioning in the room, no drawer space in the room. Cleaning in the room was not very good, fluff under the bed which was more than a week old. Probably more time should have been given before the hotel was reopened as work was still taking place around the outside area.
