Corinthia Palace Malta

Inland hotel that is situated in a residential area next to the presidential palace. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The genuinely wanted you to have a good time. Food was especially good but there are also several excellent local restaurants within easy walking distance. Central location within easy reach of Valletta and many of the sites. We used Uber but there are also buses within easy reach. the hotel has outdoor and indoor pools. There is an exceptionally good gym and spa. There is a tennis court on site. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel. One has a Michelin star, one is Italian and one Asian. the lattermost was closed when we there there. We would happily return.

The hotel is located towards the center of Malta well away form the beach resorts. Good aspects are that the service is exceptional and everyone form managers down to the room staff were welcoming and amazingly helpful. The room was spotlessly clean with the towels etc being changed daily or as required. With three places to eat there is a lot of fine food to dine in should you wish. My absolute star was the peach sorbet, it is amazing and not been bettered in any of my travels. Worth a return visit for that alone. The central location makes the hotel ideal to travel around the island as the fantastic towns and villages are an absolute must to visit. And a day's trip to Gozo is both inexpensive and well worth the effort. But if you want a beach holiday this is not the place to stay. Bad aspects. Only two. There were some renovations going on so there was the occasional noise form this but at no time was it other than in the background. The other was a smell of dampness in the lift, but the weather had been faily wet in the recent past so would be only transient in nature.

This is a lovely hotel with great staff. It's location is central to the island, which suited us as we used public transport to get around, but it might not suit everyone, as visiting the main tourist attractions (eg Valetta) needs transport - though a courtesy shuttle bus is provded by the hotel. Also, places to eat in the vicinity are a bit limited to the two restaurants in the hotel and a local Italian restaurant. Finally, we paid quite a lot for an upgraded room, which was probably not necessary ior good value

This hotel was wonderful! I emailed them before the holiday to request that my sister and her partner's room could be close to mine and my husband's. They upgraded us to executive rooms and had bubbly on ice and chocolates put in our rooms! All the staff were wonderful and the hotel perfect. It was the ideal luxury base to explore Malta from. The hotel has free transport to many of the main places so we didn't even need to purchase a bus card! It was also the ideal hotel to relax in. The pool area was superb. There was also a supermarket 10-15 mins walk away. San Anton was a quiet, beautiful area. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

What a fabulous hotel!! From the moment you are greeted with a cold glass of orange juice you know you are in a luxury hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful from front of house to housekeeping. We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary we were upgraded to an executive room and a bottle of ice cold prosecco and a cake were delivered to our room upon arrival. The spa is lovely and the spa pool is never busy so if you want a quiet swim that's the place to go. Rooms spacious and well equipped including tea and coffee making facilities which is rare! Must mention the Caprice lounge bar and it's happy hour 21.00 till 12.45am! We must have tried all the cocktails on the list at least 3 times!! Staff in there are lovely Lucca was a star. If you want to eat out try Jus wine and dine in Attard 10 minute walk from the hotel wonderful food and very pleasant staff. Hotel food good breakfast has loads of variety even dinning in your room was good. There is a hotel bus that takes you to the busier towns in Malta and runs regularly. So if you want a wonderful hotel in a quieter location this is the place for you. Thank you Corinthia Palace for a very memorable 25th wedding anniversary.
