President Viareggio

Spent 3 lovely weeks in Hotel President. Standards were high and food delicious. The breakfast and dinner staff were all extremely helpful. We had a perfect balcony to sit of an evening watching the world go by.

The Hotel President in Viareggio is a first rate, top quality establishment and it was a pleasure to have stayed there for our holiday in July. The staff are super friendly, very professional and extremely helpful in everything they do. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with both buffet and menu options. The food is beautifully prepared and expertly served. Evening meals are also excellent and very good value, again service is first rate. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and kept very clean. The large double bed was very comfortable and efficient air conditioning kept the room at the right temperature despite the heat outside. This was helped by the built in electric blinds which prevented the sun from overheating the room. The bar area is also very comfortable and not bad value for a 4 star hotel. Again the staff are excellent and take time to engage and talk to their guests. The hotel is located towards the port and is only a short walk from both the bus and train terminus. From our experience we would strongly recommend the train service which is both good value and punctual, neither of which could be said for the bus service. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Viareggio and in particular our time at the President Hotel.

The staff and service was excellent. The hotel itself is classical stylish, very clean with staff visible, working hard to make the experience excellent. Our room was big and tastefully furnished with a cleaner coming in daily to keep it fresh. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want and more - there was even prosecco! The hotel was central to the main promenade and although there wasn't a pool they worked in partnership with the Irene Beach Bar which provided deck chairs, beach beds and parasols on the fabulous beach. The deal with the hotel included two free deck chairs or for 10 euros you could upgrade to a bed each with parasol. There were toilettes and changing cubicles on site along with a beach bar restaurant for lunchtime snacks etc. i would definitely recommend this hotel and would return. Loved this hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean, reception staff were extremely helpful in running timetables off for bus and train journeys. The food was great and a fantastic choice at breakfast and evening meal. Would definitely recommend.

lovely hotel .great breakfast choice .very friendly helpfull staff.very close to beach which the hotel provides you with free use of sunbeds and parasol.train station 10 mins walk.Reception staff very helpfull with good english
