Food and water safety

Wash your hands before eating and after going to the toilet; make sure your food has been thoroughly cooked and is still hot when served; make sure that any food that is re-heated is hot all the way through; avoid any uncooked food (apart from fruits and vegetables, food that can be peeled or shelled). When eating cold food also ensure that it is sufficiently chilled. Regrettably illness during your holiday is not that unusual – it may be as simple as a change in what you are eating and drinking, or even the weather as you are in warmer climates that can cause an upset stomach or other symptoms. Keep bottled water handy to stay hydrated and follow the above tips when in the sun. We recommend drinking bottled water rather than tap water as a precaution. To be on the safe side, let us and your accommodation provider know immediately if you or any member of your party become ill so that we can help and support you every step of the way.
