Smy Kos Beach & Splash

Good points to hotel, very clean, reception staff were lovely and helpful, had a couple of minor hiccups but they sorted it quickly and professionally. Marvin, head of entertainment was so lovely, everyone should have a Marvin in their life!! Lady around the pool bar was very nice as well...other than that, food was mediocre and catered for Germans that made up most of the guests, drinks were cheap and watered down. The private little beach was nice, but beware all the pebbles at the waters edge before you hit the sandy bottom Ouch!...Infinity pool...you'll be lucky to get near it as its full of inflatables and like a disco round it...the main pool is better but the amount of inflatables allowed is crazy. The all inclusive package which we did was a waste of time....drinks were cheap spirits, I didn't even see a branded one, cocktails on the all inclusive were just a measure of spirits and lemonade or coke or orange out of the gun ...the better cocktails were 6 Euros, the only snacks were ice cream round the pool, all crisps were not included, we ended up going to a lovely bar every night called El Serina...on the main road at the entrance to the hotel having to spend 30 euros extra each night was not anticipated. I have always booked all inclusive hotels and had 5 * experiences with all this is not worth an all inclusive deal. If you like Butlins you'll love it here. I did receive an email from the hotel to leave feed back and my friend did too, we received an email back disagreeing with all our points, and it was a rude email from management as well. So no we wont be back to your hotel.

Hotel is lovely and clean. For us the all inclusive was wasted. Food is not great and the selection in our opinion quite poor. No children's choice foods so ended up eating our. Late breakfast is very misleading, this is basically left overs from the main breakfast. Bar food better but long wait times for foods like pizza to be cooked. Like I say lovely hotel and location but we wouldn't return on a package deal because of the meals.

Room was nice enough, cleaning was very hit and miss, entertainment was poor and not organised and don't class watching eurovision for a night as entertainment, take few games with you as nothing really much near by or at hotel. Infinity pool you could not see out the glass for a few days until it was cleaned, the TV info boards were out of date, Food was cold alot down near the Infinity pool and when complained to rep got told they would put it in microwave. Food was repetitive every night, nothing really for kids. No live cooking cause it was all broken. Bar staff were the best thing about the hotel Also when we got there at midnight, no info about hotel, no maps to find your way round and had 4 cases with one of our party having a fractured foot got no help to the room or finding it.

Absolutely amazing hotel ,food spot on. Rooms clean ,towels changed every day Connie was absolutely amazing couldn't do enough for everyone, definitely go again .short transfer and easy bus ride to kos Town
