Hylatio Tourist Village

An excellent holiday destination, wonderful, helpful staff and good food. lovely gardens and the rooms are nicely spaced out. beach is in easy walking distance as is a supermarket and restaurants.

A lovely friendly hotel. We only had B&B and the breakfast was ideal with plenty of choice. It’s an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable and all you need. There is also a lovely pool.

We spent a very relaxing, enjoyable week in this comfortable resort. The rooms were well-equipped and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool area was excellent and the food was good. We would happily return to Pissouri and to Hylatio.

Hotel location was brilliant, staff attitude to their guess outstanding, however not everyone want a buffet mean and i think a mixture of both buffet and individual choice would be better. a very good experience by us and will return soon.

Very nice village well kept and rooms very clean. Village is quite remote and public transport is quite poor. We were bed a breakfast and food was very average. Did not eat other meals in the hotel as the standard of breakfast was poor.

Just returned from Cyprus after a great family holiday. The Hylatio Tourist Village (not as big as it sounds) was a charming little rustic complex consisting of blocks of two story apartments, set in beautifully well kept grounds surround by rolling countryside. On arrival we were met by Florrie who took is to our apartment which was a maisonette. The rooms were simple but well maintained with our only criticism being that the sofa bed which my two daughters had to share was not much bigger than a single bed ( both girls are teenagers of 14/16) so not great really, and the balcony railings upstairs was definitely in need of being replaced as it was a little rickety, otherwise it was fine. The grounds and pool area were great, and it was pleasing to see that the Hylatio grew lots of its own herbs, vegetables, and more, however with this comes the pesky mosquito so if you're planning to visit take the jungle juice with you. The rest of the facilities were very good, including the bar area, restaurant area and reception area. The food was in general pretty good, of a little dry on the odd occasion, breakfast was a buffet style which catered for everyone so no excuses that there isn't something for everyone. Lunch in our opinion was the best as you chose from the menu; the pasta dishes, salads and pizzas were excellent as were the sandwiches and burgers etc (although the burgers were a little bit processed). The food was plentiful and in general hot although the chips seemed to be a little hit and miss? Make sure you ask for them to be well done otherwise they'll arrive a little pasty and cold. Bit all in all the food was good. The bar staff were great the bonus at Hylatio was the drinks at the bar were served in proper glasses unlike some all inclusive hotels we've been to which use small plastic receptacles, poolside was plastic cups bit they were of a good size. All in all it was a really good holiday in a great location the only downside to the Hylatio was a lack of entertainment and on your last day they remove your all inclusive at midday! Entertainment was only on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays; Monday was Oldies and Goldie's which was for those over 40, Thursday was quiz night which again was great if you were over a certain age with not much to get the kids involved and Friday was Greek night (probably the worst night for entertainment) band removal was the worst as you pay for 14 days so you should receive drinks and food until you leave.
