Silver Sands Beach Hotel

Excellent location friendly staff, but external sun beds, sofas need replacing/ maintained. Rooms clean and tidy, food is ok but could be better- you can buy food which looks and tastes far better than all inclusive option

Food was disgusting I work in school meals and we serve better had to eat out nearly every night but we were all inclusive so cost us a lot more breakfast plates were left all day with food on people were just helping themselves to the hotel sun beds which was on the beach there weren’t hotel guests there was no entertainment day and night the only good thing about this hotel was the bar manager I think his name was Makis

A great hotel right on the beach, all staff extremely friendly. Our room was modern, clean with a terrific view. There was a wide range of food to suit all tastes, themed nights and a beautiful outside seating area. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the main street where all the restaurants and entertainment is situated.

Perfect location, with the beach almost at your fingerprints. Food was fine, staff were lovely, especially Andreas, Christos the chef, and Simona. Any minor issues were dealt with straight away, and the hotel's management made sure that all was ok. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, full sea view room. Clean and tidy. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Dinner average with themed menu each evening. The staff, especially Michael the restaurant manager, were helpful and cleared the tables quickly and efficiently.

This hotel has got a fab location and they have built two new floors on to hotel the rooms are beautiful but that's we're it stops have being to this hotel several times and this was the worst we paid over £2000 for our holiday and we was put on floor 2 we're the rooms had not been updated yet charged the same price as ones that had been done the room it's self had not been cleaned properly the bathroom was dirty I had to clean the toilet myself as there was mess down there we arrived at 1 in the morning so I complained next day to reception and the jet 2 rep as it was Sunday I was told I had to wait till Monday they moved me to floor 5 we're I had a new room but to be honest the room was beautiful but they have carpet in the corridor and this had got marks of dried plaster and paint from the renovation surely they would have been better putting down tyles on the floor as the carpet was filthy the whole of the hotel has a lot of glass in it which is lovely but unfortunately it's not cleaned and to top it off the food is barely warm the staff had no go in them as it took them ages to clean tables and several times they ran out of cutlery we was waiting for knives and forks and our meal was getting colder .....and it wasn't that warm to start with you only got a table cloth if you was the fist don on an evening then after that you just got the table the actual hotel has so much potential if it was run correctly but until it is we won't be returning here

Rooms on floors 1,2 and 3 disgusting. I almost cried when I entered my room on the 2nd floor. Old, dirty and smelly. Info on hotel said it had been fully renovated for summer 2018. That’s a joke a only 2 floors were renovated. I had to move to 4th floor and what a difference. My room on 2nd floor was not what I had paid for, only a couple of drawers to store clothes and they were so smelly I wouldn’t put anything in them. No tea or milk and kettle had 2 prong plus for a 3 pin socket, when I finally used the kettle it leaked all over. Hairdryer would fall off the wall wall as it was placed near the kettle area. Only 1 power point. Two lumpy pillows with no pillows lips on and sheets didn’t fit the bed and had to sleep on an uncovered mattress. Couldnt use shower as it would keep on the wall. Had to keep asking for clean towels. Food was disgusting, Hardly had a meal as the food choice very poor, no taste to anything , all over cooked and couldn’t cut meat. Kids meals consisted of nuggets or dish fingers which we tried and they were so brittle they bounced of the plate. If you left drinks on the table to get desert they were taken away. Omelettes were nice but had to wait in a queue for at least half an hour as the chef only had one gas ring to cook them on. Could say much more.... loved Protaras and location was perfect but would not go back to this hotel unless it drastically improved. Such a disappointment as was so looking forward to this holiday, it was a suprise birthday present for my mother.

Poor food dirty untidy lack of places to sit no cutlery some times had to wait for plates. Flys on the cold food because not being coverd up. Hotel has great position for town and beach.staff great. Nice room but six coat hangers for 2 people for 14 days

Just came back from Silver Sands hotel after a beautiful 10 night break in sunny Cyprus. The rooms were always clean and linen and bedding changed on a daily basis. The staff are a credit to the hotel they were always there to take care of your every need. Mantas the lobby barman was always there with a smile on his face ready to make u one of his fantastic cocktails. Chelsea the poolside entertainment was a great addition always laughing and joking and doing her best at getting everybody involved in the activities. This was our second time at Silver Sands and we have already booked to go back next year.

if you want satifaction book jet 2 holiday , hotel cental location for all amenities, staff very helpful and friendly,food fabulous, room first class always nicely cleaned daily, this was our second year here at this hotel could not fault it at all.
