Golden Coast Beach Hotel

We have booked our 4th visit to this hotel through Jet 2 in Aug 2023, we love Protaras and we enjoy the walk from the Golden Coast to the centre of Protaras, we went this August and had the best 2 weeks the pools are great, the food is good, plenty of choice. It a large hotel with plenty of space. The staff are dedicated 100% nothing is too much trouble, my daughter loves the entertainment and kids club and the team are fantastic. The rooms are always clean and are cleaned well on a daily basis with daily fresh towels. Canot wait to return.

Although a little dated in appearance, the hotel is great and clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is lovely, and always plentiful. We enjoyed all of our meals for the week we were there. The bar was well stocked and the staff worked hard to make sure guests were not waiting too long for drinks. The entertainment was ok but not great. The artist who was there most evenings was absolutely fantastic. The area is nice, the little private beach is lovely and felt very safe for kids. There are 2 bars associated with the hotel near the beach front that are not included with the all inclusive, which wasn't clear when we booked or when we got there. Definitely worth a visit for the cocktails and pipes though. The hotel shop is good, as is the spa. We booked with Jet2holidays and got free resort check in (on the last day of holiday they take your cases to the airport and check them in) which is fantastic. The airport check-in, flight, transfer, all fantastic so definitely recommend booking with Jet2. All in all a fantastic holiday and would definitely consider going back.

Excellent hotel. We have stayed in quite a few different hotels in Cyprus but this is the best hotel by far. We arrived late and the Staff took our cases to our rooms while we went and had a drink at the hotel bar. Sandwiches were in our room on arrival, water, cold drinks etc. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and all staff were very friendly. The Entertainment team were also top notch. Brilliant holiday and we would definately return in the future.

Stayed in the golden coast hotel for 2 weeks. Stelios maitre d was so warm and welcoming at meal times but afraid to say the rest were warm to say the least. Gorgeous grounds round the hotel with sunbeds a plenty. Bus stop outside the hotel with regular service to paralimni . We hired a car for the duration of our stay and found a beautiful cove called wakesurf on the way to Cape greko sandy beach with food and drink only a handful of people on it but sunbeds and brolly 7 euros 50 cents per day. Overall I probably would not stay at this hotel again but that's just me.

The Bar and Restaurant Staff were very pleasant and always willing to help. Room was spacious. Maid service could have been better. The food in the main restaurant was very good quality with plenty of choice.

A nice hotel but it is now ready for a bit of maintenance, just cosmetic. The grounds were smashing and the rooms are ok, lovely if you get a full Seaview. The food wasn't great but it maybe it was only the 2nd week of the season. Main complaint, not enough staff while we were there and the cleaning of our room could have been a lot better.

Went for a week mid April. It was their Easter so lots of places were closed. Not much going on locally and it’s a quiet location a 40min walk to Protaras. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good night entertainment. The pool is not heated and far too cold to go in. There is one slide for 10years+. Food ok, quiet repetitive and not child friendly. Overall, an expensive holiday for what we got. We won’t return, as we found resorts in Lanzarote better value and quality.

The holiday was not what we expected. The restaurants were not what was advertised. The all inclusive drinks on an evening were very poor. The location of the hotel was great overlooking the sea but the meals and drinks let down the hotel.

Stayed there for 10 days and couldn't fault anything. Lots of daytime activities organised by the animation team, who barely stopped to take a breath. Big shout out especially to English Alex and Nora, they made the overall experience here fabulous. As for food, you'd have struggled to not find something you didn't like as the choice was fabulous at every sitting. Would I recommend it? Hell yes!! Absolutely fantastic.

I was upgraded to this hotel initially I was upset by the change of location but to be honest this was a far superior hotel to the one we had booked the only downside was it wasn't in the area we wanted to be that said the local bus service was very good. The food was fair but nothing to write home about so we ate out on a 50 50 basis, the hotel itself was very clean and staff helpful, the pool and beach area was above standard with a small harbour nearby, it took about a 20 minute walk to the town and restaurants, the wifi was a hit and miss down by the pool. Because I was half board we paid all our drinks which I feel was on the high side. Overall we were very happy with our holiday.

This hotel was nothing short of amazing,the staff in every area,from restaurants to bar staff and especially Alex and suzie from the animation team were nothing short than brilliant ,cannot recommend this place enough

Arrived in June 2016. Food good, pool fab rooms ok some rooms just had fans as air con was not working.. Very close to beach but bus ride away from main town. Bus very cheap and run approx every 15 mins until late. Restaurant - had to be wait to be seated very organised some guests didn't think they should wait. Would go again
