Marko Polo Hotel by Aminess

From arrival to departure, the whole experience of staying at Hotel Marko Polo was perfect. We really enjoyed the great selection of food and drinks. The staff couldn't have done enough for us. We were made very welcome. All our enquiries were met and any questions we had were always answered.My wife and I would like to give a special mention to Maja who was very helpful at the pool bar.

Stayed at the Marko polo previously but was disappointed on this visit. Booked for 2 weeks and room was very small. carpets were stained, no draws for clothes, drains smelled and shower head had a mind of its own. Main problem was the pool parasols. there simply weren't enough. There was 3 large ones and many small ones but they were flimsy and blew away at the slightest breeze so useless. The Marko Polo Hotel is positioned looking over the lovely harbour and beautiful old town. It's a short walk, past local resataurants, into the centre of the town and into the old town. The area sits next to a busy, vibrant harbour and in the old town and the new town there are lots of restaurants were the servivce is excellent. The hotel has a lovely balcony area to sit out in, have a glass of wine or cup of coffe and admire the marvelous view. The pool is nice and very refreshing first thing in the morning. The staff were friendly, professional and helfpufl. The hotel is clean and comfortable, apart from the air conditioining in the rooms which is a bit hit and miss so the rooms can be very hot. Their is lots of choice at breakfast but the coffee and juices were a little underwhelming. We loved our stay and would go back there again.

Well what can i say a lovely hotel friendly staff; clean, tidy hotel. The pool outside is freezing cold the sea is warmer to swim in. We arrived by water to the hotel to be met with ALOT of stairs, but the main entrence is acually round the corner which we only found out after another holiday maker told us. So off jetty up one lot of stairs turn right to end of path then lefymt follow and its there on left, saves all the stairs.

views absolutely amazing, hotel staff very friendly, clean rooms, we only stayed bed and breakfast, glad as very cheap and lots to choose from. The breakfasts were plentiful, fresh didnt think much of the coffee though. Mattress was amazing so comfortable, also had black out curtains which was great

One of the best holidays we have had. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room better than expected. Food great choices and good quality. lovely walk to old town which was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
