Hotel Lapad

Staff were amazing ,rooms spotless and meals first rate. Hotel is central for everything you require,shops ,bars sightseeing tours .if you go half board try the lunch 3 courses served at your table ,excellent

Booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the hotel was. Huge choice on the buffet breakfast and the rooms are exceptionally clean. My only criticism was that thebalcony was so small we could not really sit in it comfortably. Hence the 4 stars not 5

Surly reception staff, coffee sachets in room not replenished as standard- had to ask! Poor housekeeping standards in bedrooms, not enough hangers in wardrobe, tepid warm food for dinner. Cold pool, uninteresting bar with grossly inflated prices and no draught beer!

Hotel lovely and in a good location. Although was very quiet so not really suitable to keep children entertained. Good public transport so easy to reach other resorts for sightseeing. Very picturesque. Old town is brsutiful although very busy but it was August so to be dxpecfed. Would definitely stay at hotel lapad again.

Staff could not do enough.- lent me an adaptor without any charge Everywhere spotlessly clean. Modern bedroom with great shower - hot and powerful Buffet always fresh with lots of choice but if you want ice cream your waiter will get some for you. Gorgeous shaded wall garden for when it got too hot We thought there was entertainment every night but there was just a trio on 2 nights, who were very good but other than that we felt the hotel was too quiet - no soul No availability for late check out as very busy but no where to have a shower apart from THE COLD POOL one Short cut to main strip and supermarket is about 2 mins from hotel - turn left and it is just after the next hotel a slope with just a few steps

Nice hotel however the view across the water at road level has been spoilt by the building of a new concrete jetty. Overall the hotel is good, great breakfast and a very quaint building. Try for a room on the front of the building which looks across to the pier that the cruise liners dock in.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in October. We had received an email before travelling to say that a new marina was being built in front of the hotel, so were aware there might be some disruption. No disruption, thankfully, just a bit of noise on a couple of occasions, but we weren't really in the hotel much during the day. Staff were helpful and polite. Buffet breakfast was great and evening meal buffet very good value. Room was comfortable and any housekeeping requests (non-working lamp and broken kettle) were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere in the hotel, very restful.

Overall the hotel was of a good standard. The majority of the staff were pleasant, especially at reception and in the dining room. Drinks at the hotel were expensive and I would recommend visitors to try The Wind a little bar 200 Metres up the road, where drinks are half the price.

We stayed for 7 nights at the Hotel Lapad on half board & it was fabulous. Our room was beautifully appointed & had everything we needed, a superb modern bathroom, free room safe, mini-bar/fridge, Tv etc & a lovely terrace. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the pool is divine, quality sunbeds & free pool towels. The food is excellent in every way, lovely restaurant, plenty of choice & high quality. The staff are friendly & helpful, we particularly liked Zlatan who was very good at his job & offered his coffee pot with a smile at breakfast. The bar & pool bar are great & prices are as expected in a 4* hotel. There is a lot of work going on outside the hotel on the new marina but it didn't really bother us. The hotel is located on Gruz harbour so we loved observing the cruise liners & other craft moving around the water. It's about 10 mins walk to the main strip with lots of places to have a drink & we took the bus to the Old Town. We loved the Cave Bar at the Hotel More & the Sphere cocktail bar at the Hotel Kompas as they had wonderful live music. Croatia is a delight - you will love it & this Hotel is a fabulous choice - we will be back !!

Clean cheerful hotel well located for some of the best restaurants and bars outside the old town. Swimming pool is small and sunbeds at a premium during the day. Nothing to really fault with the hotel and one would definitely stay here again.

Hotel in good location great views with cruise ships just in front of the hotel many good restaurants in surrounding area one off which was Otto we went to twice Hotel itself rooms were kept very clean very comfortable with everything that was needed staff very friendly and helpful

Wonderful hotel, all the staff are very friendly, we stayed on a half board basis and so glad we did we cannot fault the choice of food at either breakfast or dinner and nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was excellent as well maybe the balcony could have been slightly larger as could only for one chair in but that is a very minor issue.

Lovely hotel ! Friendly staff especially Lea on reception ! Ten minute bus ride to old town ! Buses every ten minutes! Fab restaurant near by called Peppers ( best one in Dubrovnik) beautiful country !

This was our first visit to Dubrovnik and we weren't disappointed the hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful,we had bed and breakfast and were very satisfied with the selection on offer and the chef went out of his way to prepare something extra if you required it,we didn't eat in the hotel in the evening but there is a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel.we didn't much like the tea supplied in the room so was glad we had taken our own , we also bought fresh milk from the local supermarket as there was only cream supplied in the room which was fine in coffee but not in tea.There is an excellent bus service into the old town which takes about ten minutes, a trip to the old town is a must and a trip on the cable car well worth it for fantastic views of the area ,we are not ones for organised tours but wanted to visit some of the nearby islands so just bought ferry tickets saving us a huge amount of money and leaving us to do just as we liked without being tied to times and if you want a nice sandy beach then lopud island has one

Visited this hotel same time last year and it did not disappoint. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Hotel was spotless. Food choice first class, catered for all types I.e. Vegetarians, etc.set in a stunning location and close to local amenities. Would definitely recommend hotel lapad to family and friends.

Very clean hotel, lovely rooms. All staff very helpful. The breakfasts are 1st class with lots of choice. The food and drinks in the hotel bar are very reasonably priced and plenty-ful. The hotel has a pool area and a walled garden for guests to sunbathe in. The rooms have a fridge and tea making facilities.
