Bokun Guesthouse

Great location, short bus ride to old town or 20 minutes walk. The staff at the guesthouse are fabulous, very friendly and welcoming. Room was nice and comfortable. Bathroom a tad on small size, but adequate.

Tony was excellent from the moment he helped us take our suitcases into the guesthouse. We were welcomed with drinks and a snack and lots of very useful information about our visit. The garden area and pool area are lovely; the communal area was like a family kitchen/dining area and our apartment was great.

One of the most joyful holidays to date. Delightful hosts supported by good humoured , helpful staff. The property nestles in fruitful gardens with a lovely pool area. Breakfasts taken on the terrace under vines heavy with grapes and kiwis shared with guests from a wide range of countries. Seconds from the harbour and a 20minute walk to the Old Town.

The guesthouse is tucked away just off the main road around the harbour, just a few metres from the waterfront. It has a lovely pool which is a bonus in Dubrovnik. there are no views as such but the garden area is full of colour with flowers

We recently spent a week at the Bokun Guest House. Old town is easy accessible on foot or by bus. We loved the old town but Gruz where the guest house is situated is a a lovely contrast just to experience the local life here. We visited the daily market then had a coffee alongside the friendly locals. There are also many bars & restaurants here and some lovely walks around the peninsular. Toni & his family are wonderful friendly people and were great hosts making us very welcome. It was lovely to take breakfast on the open air terrace surrounded by the beautiful garden. Breakfast consisted of various breads, cheese, ham, boiled egg, fresh fruit yoghurt fruit juice and delicious pastries with as much tea/coffee as you wished. After a long day of sightseeing in Dubrovnik old town we would spend many late afternoons/early evenings in the garden drinking wine or a coffee in the peaceful surroundings with only the sound of the birds singing. One day Toni's father gave us some freshly picked strawberries straight from the garden to have with our wine. For us this beats staying in a hotel. We will surely be returning to Dubrovnik and Bokun Guesthouse. Thank you Toni & family for a memorable holiday. Steve & Nancy Black (Newcastle)
