Broncemar Beach Hotel

Lovely hotel, rooms nice, maid 5 times a week Hotel area is always being cleaned All staff very friendly Pool area good with lots of loungers Lots of daytime entertainment from animation team (only downside was volume of poolside “Europop”) Onsite shop well stocked and reasonably priced Adults’ish cocktail bar Evening entertainment: Kids disco etc Fairly central location. Beach 5min and close to bars and restaurants Can get some good AI deals, food nice, plentiful and varied

We have stayed here several times, 1x before renovatiin and several times after. The complex is lively. Customer service is excellent, very clean apts., lovely bar and pool area. We have never eaten here as we go self catering so unable to comment on that. Overall a fab hotel in a great location.

We have been 4 times now and this time was disappointing no WiFi at all had to use data roaming at a cost to ourselves the room was right beside a very busy noisy bar not great when you suffer from migraines. It was clean as it usually is maids were all lovely facilities were good too

I could not fault the hotel, it was clean, nicely set out. I was particularly impressed with the layout of the pools, as it encpuraged families with children in one pool and adults only at the other pool. The staff we're very friendly and always happy to help. Location was great, only a short walk to the beach, the centre and the market. It was quieter resort, but was perfect for what we wanted. If you just want a week chill. then I reccommend. Very accessible for people in wheelchairs, scooters etc.

We stayed for two weeks self catering and what a lovely, friendly place. 2 pools one of which was heated plus a jacuzzi and a children’s splash park. Centre to beach, lovely walks and local restaurants. Will definitely be staying again

Loved the area of Alvor it's self. The apartment's we stayed in were, clean. But very basic & outdated. Beds were terrible. Also would definitely be far better if they had lifts. The pool facilities were really good & on site supermarket handy, as a long way from nearest shops.

Stayed here in early January. This was our second stay in Caleta de Fuste but our first stay at the Broncemar. What a fabulous job they have made of the refurbishment of the entire complex. As we always do before booking a stay anywhere we carried out a full read of all the most recent reviews of the Broncemar on Tripadvisor. Almost all of them were 4/5 star and the most up to date photos especially of the room refurbishments were very impressive and so our minds were made up and we went ahead and 'pressed the button. On arrival we were not disappointed and were allocated Room 0123 which was an upper floor apartment with its own private terrace. The terrace had its own table with two three chairs and two very comfortable sun loungers. We were away from the pool area and the hotel under occupied due to the time of year so we had a very quiet and relaxing holiday. We'd booked self catering and so didn't get to experience the hotel catering as we made our own breakfast/lunch (using the well equipped small kitchen in our room) and eat out most evenings. The hotel is very well located in Caleta as its just over the road the White Centre which has plenty of restaurants/bars including Piero's bar if you are up for a bit of karoke. The Broncemar has two excellent fresh water pools one of which is heated during the colder months. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pools and an attentive lifeguard always on hand. I'm an experienced swimmer and I was allowed to use my training aids e.g. finns, pull bouy etc. The larger (unheated) pool was shaped so that it had an approximate 25m long section so was ideal for lengths. The hotel reception has a very nice bar/seating with doors to an open air terrace area which would make for a great place to have your evening cocktails. Sadly this area was not open during our stay. At the entrance to the reception there are some tables and chairs which provide a very convenient seating area convenient while you wait for your coach to arrive on departure day. Due to the fact that we are a mature couple and had booked self catering we sadly didn't have much interaction with the restaurant/bar staff or the animation team but the interactions we had with reception and cleaning staff were excellent. To make up for this and the fact that our overall experience was excellent we have rebooked a return to the Broncemar for late April and this time we've opted for the all inclusive package.
