Hotel Las Vegas

Well placed hotel very clean and good food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Entertainment could be better. Salou is a beautiful place very clean with plenty to do in and around hotel.

Hotel Las Vegas provides a clean and comfortable 4 star accommodation with high quality food. The staff from the cleaners to the bar/restaurant staff to the reception staff are all helpful and polite. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever encountered in all the years of holidaying. We booked a pool view after reading other reviews and would recommend this as the hotels to the rear are quite noisy. Now the slight problem. The hotel does not have enough sunbeds for the number of guests causing a mass rush at 9 am to acquire a bed. Also whilst we were there the snack bar was closed and the only snacks provided at the main bar was either a cheese toastie or cheese and ham toastie. The lack of sunbeds would probably stop us from returning to the hotel.

6th visit, was as good as the first. Love this place for cleanliness, friendly staff who go above and beyond, great atmosphere, great facilities and in a great location for the beach and all other local facilities.

Our overall recent experience of this hotel was very good - this included the hotel room, the bar & reception staff, the food, the cleanliness and it's excellent location. However we had a few negative comments about the Las Vegas Hotel. Firstly the staff at the main swimming pool were so so depressed looking most of the time - my advice would be to either give them some additional training or make some staff changes. Secondly the shortage of sunbeds around the pool was most unsatisfactory. This resulted in a stampede for sunbeds at 9am in the morning when the pool area was opened by the pool attendant! There was literally queuing by the hotel residents from 8.40am in the morning and barging and pushing for sunbeds which on some occasions was not at all pleasant. It resulted in arguments around the pool area between hotel residents which really did create an unpleasant atmosphere. It you didn't get a sunbed at 9am you had no chance for the rest of the day!! The hotel really needs to look at solving this problem. There was some management of the reserving of sunbeds and removal of towels by the pool staff but it wasn't consistent. The entertainment in the hotel in the evening was average but fortunately the hotel itself is very close to many lively bars and clubs so this wasn't too much of a problem. All in all we had a wonderful holiday in Salou. It is definitely a resort we would like to return to but probably not to the Las Vegas hotel.

Great situated hotel close to all that is needed for a good break. Hotel great could do with evening meals being labelled better being a vegetarian had to ask what things contained and always meat or fish, even the salads. Some strange meats on offer pigs feet and rabbit pasta even to my partner who like meat this was a but off putting. Would go bed and breakfast next time as the hotel,pool and evening entertain were all good.

Hotel reception areas are lovely. However the rooms are basic and the shower room needs refurbishment. Hotel staff and cleaners are excellent and prompt to resolve any problems. Food was okay but missed not having fresh fruit for breakfast, or no melon. The sunbeds are very nice but there was not enough of them.

We stayed in the Las Vegas hotel in Aug 2017 the location is ideal but I was disappointed with thins hotel. There is a definite lack of sun beds and parasols and not enough space for more so it will always be an issue. The available beds were filthy and not indicative of four star hotel on our last day we did see staff removing towels that ignorant people were placing to reserve 'their' bed but not using for most of the day. The food wasn't great the quality of meat was poor breakfasts were just warm there was a lack of cutlery the glassware was well scratched plates and cups were chipped I have stayed in far better three star hotels. Kitchen staff were rude I asked for a teaspoon one morning and was told 'no'. I tried to pay for my water one evening and was told to wait, poor show when you even have to pay for water. There were a couple of good shows in then evening however there is no stage for them and you have to go outside to watch them. Bar staff were very friendly shout out for Enrique who worked his socks off but always had a smile. I wouldn't rush back to this hotel it didn't compare to riu hotels I have visited.

Hotel Las Vegas is a clean,well managed hotel with wonderful beds guarranteeing a good nights sleep.The food is frist class and varied to suit all tastes.The hotel is ideally situated 5 mins from the beach and 5 mins from town centre.
