Hotel Best Triton

Loved the hotel,couldnt fault it ,, lovely food with theme nights ,great location right by the beach and shops on the promenade either side of the hotel,,pools were a goid size and very clean ,, lovely staff

On arriving at the resort, we were upgraded as requested by my partner. When we entered the room there was an overwhelming smell of fresh paint. A maid confirmed the room had just been painted as she came to check walls. This smell lasted for the first 24 hours, but we wanted to enjoy our holiday so tried not to let it bother us. During our stay, I noticed there were two plug sockets in two different common areas of the hotel hanging off the wall, which I thought was a big hazard especially for young children. The condition of the hotel was not what I would expect from a 4*. Sunbeds around the pool were not clean and there were lots of cracks and raised tiles throughout the grounds. On the third night I tripped on an uneven, unlit pathway which resulted in me breaking my shoulder. I have booked with Jet2 for many years, and stayed in many 4* hotels, but the condition of this hotel was well below standard. After my accident I was informed the hotel is to be refurbished in October, and I don't think the hotel should have been sold as a 4* until these refurbishments are complete as the current condition is not safe/suitable for guests and has resulted in my serious injury.

Couldn’t fault this hotel, staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. As we were celebrating two special birthdays we were given a bottle of champagne in each room and sea view rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

great hotel location. staff friendly and helpful food ok could always find something to eat. room was fantastic with great view of sea and marina wr had 2 balconies which was great to see right round first time our grandson has been abroad he is 4 and it was perfectly safe.

This hotel caters for the Spanish and German Contingency. We were given a room at the very back of the hotel adjacent to the main road. Whether this is because we are English or whether it is because we booked with Jet2 or only Bed & Breakfast I don't know, but every English person that we spoke to were put at the rear of the Hotel. The better rooms appearing to be kept for the Spanish and German guests. Another example of this was at the Breakfast Bar where the selection of Milks were only labelled in Spanish and German. The staff did not go out of their way to making the British guests welcome Very basic accommodation for a supposedly 4 Star Hotel. The hotel foyer and lounges were dark and drab and in need of some modernisation. The Air Conditioning could not be set temperature wise in the individual room . The only setting in the room was a blower control so very difficult to get the temperature you required. Rooms were adequate, however, there were no Tea / Coffee making facilities in the room. There was no shaving mirror in the bathroom and no mirror whatsoever in the main bedroom. We went through every TV channel to find English news without success, only to be told the day before we left that the TV could be re-tuned.There were no instructions in the room of how to do this. The 2 main lifts were totally inadequate for the size of the hotel and we had to wait up to 10 minutes at busy times. Having only booked Bed & Breakfast we can only comment on the food at breakfast which was fairly poor quality. The sausages in particular tasting awfull. There were also numerous occasions where they had run out of some items and you had to wait 5-10 minutes for them to bring more out. The hotel advertises 2 pools, however during our stay 1 pool was completely fenced off. We would certainly not recommend or use this Hotel again.

Hotel staff very pleasant, lots of seating areas available inside, outside garden/pool area ideal with plenty of loungers. Excellent location for travelling by bus or walking. Very nice clientele. Evening entertainment mixed - some very good and some not !!

This hotel lacks entertainment for familys with children, or young couples, The food is not good every night was basically the same and lacked in choice for children and people with intolerances. The hotel it self is clean and rooms are spacious only complain with rooms is the air conditioning only comes on between 3pm-8pm.

Lovely large rooms, great location, great choice of food, staff really friendly and happy to help. Would happily return. Very clean throughout. Rooms cleaned every day. Good WiFi. Bar prices ok - cheaper than some bars for some drinks. Plenty of shops, supermarkets and bars close by. Lovely clean beach and short walk to Marina with more shops, cafes and bars. You can also buy boat trips here.

Stayed at the Best Triton from 17th-27th December. Booked through Jet2 - excellent as usual! Check-in was quick and easy. Reception advised all details in a friendly manner. Bags delivered to our room and what a room! Very large and comfortable and newly decorated. Fridge that was actually cold and a safe that was not only free but easily assessible. Bathroom also large. Water in shower always hot and toiletries replenished. Housekeeping very good. A huge balcony with afternoon sun and a wonderful view of the sea, pool & gardens, helped by being on the 5th floor. All the staff were friendly and worked hard. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was of a good standard and replenished quickly. Also three choices of show cooking. It was obviously busy, which was only to be expected and a bit noisy at times but what do you expect with hundreds of guests! We were always served quickly with a smile, with our wine and what good value 9.5 Euros per bottle!The hotel is a little dated but that only adds to the character. So much space everywhere, both inside and out and in an enviable position, right on the promenade.Evening entertainment every night, maybe not always to our taste but better than most hotels we've stayed in.All in all excellent value.
