Clean and option when to have room serviced, friendly staff willing to assist when asked. Food in main dining room was not of standard we normally experience on jet2 holidays. On several occasions we had lukewarm offerings with many offerings not labelled. Repetitive over the week and limited, seemed to be mainly catering for German residents preferences. Pool bar menu was superior in choice and standards.

Holiday for 2 weeks arranged after Xmas, travelled 8th january 018. Left behind wind rainsnow and cold weather. Good journey to Funchal in Madeira where the temperature was in early 20's for the 2 weeks. First time in Madeira and i have to say, Hotel was modern, staff were helpful, pleasant and attentative to guests; service in lounge/bar, restaurant and rooms were very good. Hotel location was away from centre, uphill climb from centre but for us. provided good exercise after the half board meals [buffet style] and refreshment within the evening. Lounge/bar had varied entertainment each night, bar prices a bit pricey [but we were on hols so not matter much] Due to good weather, we were able to sun bathe with good sun from 9 'till 4.00 pm. Pool was open for business and the Pool bar was open with a good choice of food and drink. Hotel and grounds were tidy,clean and staff were visibly attending to duties in and outside the hotel. Safe in room at a charge, 11 floors to hotel and if you chose for cleaning service to the room on a 1 day off 1 day on basis - hotel rewarded you with a discount on your final bill! All in all a great 2 weeks, good hotel environment, good staff making the holiday very pleasant and enjoyable. Would recommend.

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful country. Absolutely amazing Christmas decorations. Lovely friendly staff and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy. We didn’t eat in the restaurants but lots of lovely places nearby. The spa facilities were good

we were very happy with our choice of hotel. staff very helpful, room very good, and staff helped change you to another room if you was not happy with view or balcony. swimming pool was cold but ok once in and swimming, attendant was happy and very helpful with sun beds etc. never a problem with getting a bed. Sauna pool and facilities great. staff in restaurant happy and helpful. for the price we paid we had an excellent hotel. very comfortable beds

This is a really good hotel, rooms and food very good, staff very helpful and the barman Bruno was particularly friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are a little expensive but excellent quality. The only flaws were the uncomfortable sun loungers. There were only 4 beds with mattresses and older people in particular were struggling. In addition they charge you for clean beach towels Breakfast not worth rushing down for though.

20 minute walk into Funchal but hard walk back! Get a taxi or shuttle bus! Fabulous views. Lovely room, big bathroom but lighting could be improved. Food ok. Staff very helpful, friendly. Entertainment every night but not worth staying in for, except folklore night.

We have recently returned from a two week holiday to Four Views Baia. We paid a supplement for a sea view room which was well worth it. We had views of the sea and the harbour and right down the main street to the fountain. The room was spacious and kept spotless by the daily room service. The food was varied and of good quality both at breakfast and dinner. A nice touch was a glass of fizz on arrival at breakfast. The views were stunning at every time of day and night. The staff were lovely. The only downside was the climb back up the hill as this was very steep but if you read up on it you know what you are buying into. It only cost us 4 to 5 euros in a taxi from town.

We had a large studio during our stay and only enjoyed the hotels facilities on a couple of occasions, the hotel is very nice and clean, the entertainment for the two nights we came down to watch it was very good, the only downside was the terrible beer. My husband asked the staff to put some life into the beer, but unfortunately it was undrinkable, so we ventured out to drink. The walk to the waterfront from the hotel was easy once we had our bearings, but a difficult return when loaded up with food shopping.
