Aquashow Park Hotel

I stayed on my own with my 12 year old son , it’s a lovely friendly hotel with exceptionally clean rooms and very helpful staff. The pool is immaculate and the restaurant food was fantastic. We had a fantastic holiday.

Hotel:- Many positive things including cleaniness, rooms and swimming pool. A few things to note... There are no resturants or supermarkets anywhere near. The hotel would benefit from a small convenience store with necessities. We was full board, the food was a little bland and the choice for dinner was very sparce but if you are not a fussy eater then you will be ok. Remember this point if you have children who are fussy as I would reccomend going out for dinner somewhere else but as previouslty stated this involves a taxi which adds to the cost. The waterpark:- AMAZING!!!! As a family we absolutely loved the waterpark, something for all ages as we have a 7, 11, 15 year olds. The fact that they have theme park rollercoasters and other rides adds to the experience and you get free entry when staying at the hotel. We had a few issues with some broken items in the room and a couple of dangerous areas around the pool but these were dealt with fairly quickly by the hotel. Overall we would recommend this hotel but do not expect amazing food with the full board package.

Great modern hotel, very friendly staff. Downside was (although not far in itself), having to walk around to the entrance of the waterpark, there should be a separate entrance/exit from the hotel grounds into the waterpark

The hotel staff were friendly and informative. The rooms were nice and airy and cleaned daily. The fridge was handy and the aircon was needed. There was also a safe deposit box free of charge. We had a family interconnecting room which was great and they put another family member in the room oppsite which made life easier. The food was varied, we had no fussy eaters but we did have a Vegan in the group but there was always plenty for them to eat, pasta, salads, rice, bread, veggies, fruit etc. We stayed half board but was dissapointed that a drink was not included with our dinner, as in previous hotels we've stayed in we would always get a free drink with our meal. The drinks in the hotel were very expensive 15 euros was the cheapest full bottle of red wine and they didnt sell it by the glass. There was no local supermarket within walking distance (no path on the side of the road) but bought cheap wine and snacks when headed out for the day either by taxi or free bus. Wish the free courtesy bus had more than one drop off/collection a day as we wanted to return earlier so had to get a taxi back. Book taxis by Uber or get the local taxi number off reception. The hotel only use one taxi firm and they are a lot more expensive. I would recommend hiring a car as it can get expensive using taxis/buses to get around. Loule is very nice with pretty streets, lots of shops/market etc and can be reached by bus in around 20 mins and is only 3.35 euros each. The hotel can print off the time table. The entertainment staff were very good, got people involved in activities, especially good with the kids. The water park was briliant, used it three times, best to go early or later to beat the queues for the slides. Foods ok in there too, reasonable prices. Overall had a lovely relaxing time, plenty of sun beds, pool area was nice and clean and would recommend this hotel for families of all ages.

Absolutely loved it here! The staff are so friendly and polite, the water park was outstanding!! We will most definitely be coming back here!! The food is also stunning!! Just wish they done all inclusive. If you want to travel from hotel don’t get a normal taxi they charge a bomb and always go the longer route, get the hotel to book you a taxi they charge €28 to go where ever you want and as far as you want which is really good as we paid over €32 pulling a taxi over to come back to hotel. We came here on the 23 July 2018 and wish we stayed longer! Don’t be put off by some people’s bad reviews this holiday/hotel felt like it was 5* and entertainment every night and it’s so much fun for kids! Don’t think twice BOOK IT!!

Very good hotel clean, friendly helpful staff lovely water park. I would recommend this hotel to family's as it caters well for children. Would definitely stay again in the future. Ideal for touring the Algarve great base.

Dissapointed to see that not all staff knows English. First room given smelling dump, waiting 45 minutes for an order, ants in my kids juice left overnight. No activities with the children, swimming pool water very cold outside. Staff rude...

Fantastic hotel and staff very helpful and friendly at all times would highly recommend for families water park was fabulous and very well staffed and safety conciece was only 10 minutes drive taxi to nearest town . We used the uber app foe taxi for first time and was also great. Local people very polite and friendly would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel was ok, but on a very busy main road, with constant heavy traffic. There were no shops locally and it was impossible to cross the road. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was nice. But not a good place to stay, unless you want to be confined to the hotel

Hotel is clean and staff are helpful and pleasant , rooms are modern and clean , both out door and heated indoor pools are lovely . There was an excellent choice at breakfast however I wasn't impressed with the evening buffet and the bar food is limited but sufficient for the day or the odd evening meal . Day time entertainment by the pool mostly games were fun but I found the evening entertainment a little to be desired . The water park is extremely busy and the lines are very long for that reason we didn't use it as much as we expected but did find that if you go later in the day the lines get shorter as people start to leave . This hotel is ideal for those who base themselves at the pool as in order to explore locally you would need to hire a car or pay 20 euros for a round trip into town . We did enjoy our holiday here

Be prepared there are no shops around the hotel, the nearest supermarket is a 20 min walk. It didn't bother me I knew what to expect as I did my research before i went. The staff work hard and are very good Bedroom cleaned everyday, air con in your room. I really enjoyed it, I met some great people and I would go back again.

Beautiful hotel, quite an isolated location with only a few restraunts/shops around, and be very careful walking to these as there is very little public footpath, you will be walking on the roads in part. The hotel however offers a free curtesy bus to and from querteria and vilamora, there are many taxis available. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 10days and for the first 2-3 day thought it was great as we had access to a car however once we had no access to the car getting to anywhere other than the water park was a nightmare one night we waited 1 hour just for a taxi in to vilamora, when asking reception where the taxi was the response was 'it's on its way' which it never was. No shops within walking distance and the nearest restruants are along a road with no side walks, okay for adults but for children I wouldn't advise. The hotel it's self is very clean and the rooms are nice. The water park is brilliant for the kids however how many days can you spend just in a waterpark. The hotel lacks evening entertainment and I didn't want to spend one night of my holiday in the hotel as nothing was going on.i would recommend getting a car so you can venture out.

Lovely hotel, all staff really helpful. Good choice of food but would recommend that the evening buffet items are labelled as we were unsure what some items were. Rooms great and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Access to water park included in price, water park is great. Hotel not near beach but they have a free bus that runs there daily. Would definitely return.
