Yet another outstanding visit to this Hotel our 5th visit and never disappointed. Staff fabulous food excellent drinks deals made us feel right at home.Kept spotlessly clean. Set in a lovely picturesque setting we will definitely return. Hard to criticise my only complaint is the pool needs to be heated its very cold.

The hotel is clean, modern, friendly but professional staff, good amenities and the food is excellent! Would recommend a balcony with a sea or side sea view as it is worth it. The sheets are changed during the week and if you required additional tea/coffee this was readily resolved as was for any enquiries that was made. My daughter used the gym daily and the only criticism was that it was not air conditioned as the rest of the hotel is(?!). The pool was lovely and the sunbathing area on the grass is well worth considering. The pool bar was good value and there was a waiter service if you required it. There are outside games to play but the putting green did make me laugh as it was rather small and never saw anyone use this. The walk to the beach is as it says down a steep incline but it is so worth it to get to the beach and spend the day relaxing. The hire of the beach sunbeds is 20 Euros for two beds for the day which sounds expensive but well worth it to have some shade. The hotel is not far from the shops to obtain water and other items, There was a good Thai massage place locally as well as a wonderful shop selling cork items. Well worth exploring. I would come back to this hotel again.

Just returned from this hotel .The staff have been very helpful and friendly. It is spotlessly clean and located on a cliff top. The hotel has a lovely pool and pool bar and lovely quite areas. The food has been amazing with something for everyone. Cannot fault the hotel .food or service. would definitely recommend.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. Tea & coffee making with items replaced daily. Balcony a decent size. Buffet style meals in main restaurant, plenty of variety. Hotel is an easy walk to the village to local shops & restaurants and 5/10 minutewalk from local bus stops. 15 minute walk to beach through village. Also steps down from hotel to another beach. Plenty of restaurants, although only a few restaurants/cafes are open this early in the year. The season starts fully in March apparently we were on half board so not a problem.

A quality hotel in a quiet clifftop location with direct access to a lovely beach via a well designed flight of steps. Benches are placed at regular intervals to reduce the effort of the climb.Double Rooms are on the small side but adequate with plenty of storage space. The buffet breakfast & dinner has a wide menu of generally good quality. Try the delicious custard tarts.It's a short walk to the harbour and bus stops are a few minutes away, tickets can be purchased on the bus or at terminus bus stations.

We returned for the 2nd year running as was not disappointed. The food especially the breakfast is a wonderful array of very good quality food. We only went bed and breakfast this time as we wanted to experience local dining. We were not disappointed and found some great places to eat. The beat discovery was the 100 odd steps to the beach access is now completely all beautiful wooden steps very sturdy and plenty of rest places for the not so able.

Our 5th stay at this hotel, normally we go May/October but visited in July for a family wedding and again we were not disappointed. We originally chose this hotel after staying at the Cliff Bay in Maderia and have also stayed at the Liberdade in Lisbon. I would highly recommend the PortoBay group. The PortoBay Falesia is well located, beautiful cliff top views, direct access to the beach where you can walk to Villamoura, stopping off for a refreshment along the way and also walkable to Albufeira via the main road. The food at the hotel is very good and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby and a nice stroll takes you down to the cove for dinner or drinks. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff are very efficient. After your first visit, join as a Prestige member which has discounts and perks. Highly recommend this hotel.
