Avalon Palace Hotel

Stayed at this hotel 23rd June 11 days all inclusive This Hotel has one of the best locations/veiws you can expect, on a hill overlooking hills harbour and the blue blue sea.We had a suite which are brand new with private little pool it could not be betterd ,the best room we have had abroad.All the staff are friendly hard working from the reception to the housekeepers.The dinning room /areas are spotlass as is the pool area plenty beds and sun shades ,the bus into town take 6 mins and runs3 times a day or so. A walk up the hill to the little church 20 mins has a smashing veiw with a few Greek tavanas with good food. The only down side for us (and others) is the poor food mostly only warm with lots of reused dishes the meat was naff salad very limited you CAN make a meal out of it but does need to be upgraded in line with the rest of the hotel. Dont let this put you off this hotel is definatley worth a visit , would we go back YEs like a shot however the suites dont seem to be on the Jet2 brochure for 2019 come on Jet2,

hotel lovely,clean ,pool clean,staff are lovely,friendly,helpful beyond call of duty,only one issue food not always the best no cards to say what the food is so did not try ,sometimes food was the same a few days on the run,hotel have issues with the food said they are sorting it out hope they do because this lets the hotel down,would i go back yes if food improves

The only positive I can say about this hotel is the view. It is outstanding. The food is awful. Nothing is labelled and if you have any kind of food allergy do not risk it. The lounge area is like a waiting room. The hotel has no ambience at all. Sun beds are plenty but uncomfortable. Rooms are basic, no bath mat when using shower so could be slippery. No hooks on bathroom door. Not much room in wardrobe, not enough drawers. Sea view rooms have beautiful view. The suites are not private. They are overlooked by dining area. If you like views and a good drink without being bothered about what you eat and can entertain yourself then you will be fine.

just returned from the Avalon hotel starting with the good all the staff where very friendly and the view is amazing. but unfortunately the main thing that let the hotel down was the food although it did get better as the week went on they do need to up there game on the food and keep it up then this hotel would get a much better rating .the evening entertainment was great and they do mini bus to zante town and to the beach .we also went on the wine tasting trip which was brilliant and free and there was no pressure to buy the wine .so please avalon hotel up your game on the food and i would defiantly be back had a good holiday

The hotel was very nice but the road down into the town was very bad. There's hardly any pavements so the walk down is awful. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus service 4 times a day into town which is very useful. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very disappointing. Firstly you didn't know what you were eating because nothing was labelled, it was also not very hot. The views from the hotel were amazing but there was nothing going on in the hotel at night except for the Wednesday when they had a Greek night. There was no background music, the tvs in the rooms could only get BBC world news or a fuzzy sky news. There are no bars near the hotel to go out to at night, so if you want a bit of entertainment you have to go into the town.

very nice hotel great views only fault its a bit out off the way from anything all the staff are great they go out off there way to help u in any way i am not a good eater but there is always something there

Clean, friendly, polite hotel with excellent views over Zante town, couldn't fault this hotel. Food is a little repetitive but always fresh cooked well and available at meal times, infinity pool looking over the town and sea

My husband and I spent our 30th wedding anniversary at the a Avalon hotel we had an amazing holiday the hotel was clean the food was lovely and the staff were amazing. The owners were lovely made our anniversary very special thank you

It is just like the images in the photos. The staff are very good. The views from the balcony are brilliant. The pool could do with better cleaning operation as the water was sometimes too low for the filtration system to work but that is the only negative we could find. The food was always good and they had a variety to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower had more power than most in England. good sized bath also. All round very very good.
