The expansive Flogita Beach stretches across the coastline boasting golden sands and calm waters. This Blue Flag beach doesn’t get too overrun with tourists, so you’ll be able to find your perfect spot to work on your tan all afternoon.
Flogita is an ideal location to visit some of Greece's top attractions. You’re only 50km from the bustling town of Thessaloniki and a boat tour away from the historical, monastic site of Mount Athos. You’ll be able to split your time between the serene shores and the ancient culture of Greece.
Halkidiki
Shrouded in clouds, Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece and one of its most famous sights. This epic peak has appeared in plenty of Greek myths and is said to be the home of the 12 Greek gods. Lots of well-marked trails for all abilities snake through the mountain, with spectacular views across the surrounding national park.
Halkidiki
As the main beach in the most popular village in Halkidiki, Kallithea is both beautiful and well organised. It’s backed by lush greenery and has pale sands and the most inviting clear waters. Plus, it’s just a short walk from the village. There are facilities for children, sun-worshippers and water sports fans – it’s all here!
Halkidiki
This park, dedicated to the Greek philosopher, is at the edge of the village of Stagira, on a hilltop with views of the Gulf of Ierissos. It’s a lovely setting with hands-on exhibits that are based on Aristotle’s views on nature, science and mathematics. Entry is cheap and there’s a café for snacks and drinks.
