Creta Maris Resort

I took a chance with this holiday and didn't look at any reviews, however I needn't of worried because this hotel was lovely. The hotel was clean and the staff were brilliant, the food was great too and loads of variety, I had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel with lots of restaurants. Food was great but the drinks were the worst I’ve ever had .. on day 2 me and my son was drinking water due to the sub standard soft drink and alcohol. Staff was unfriendly .. and the hotel was so big it lost its personal feel and Was probably better for German/ French. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place but I’ve been to loads better.

Went for a week holiday. Beautiful hotel, we had a sea view & still miss hearing the sea every morning. Room clean, staff helpful, food & drink plentiful & good quality. Pools & gardens well maintained. Great holiday.

A big thankyou to our waitress in the Cosmos restaurant, Stellios our wonderful chef, Geseppe in the Platia restaurant, Elvis our wonderful waiter and George in the Italian restaurant . All these people made our stay very special.

I couldn't rate the Creta Maris resort highly enough. The staff were incredible, the room was beautiful, food was great (even in the buffet restaraunts) and the presentation was beautiful! Booked 9 days before travel and got a pool view room, transfers, luggage and nicely timed flights a reasonable price Huge selection of drinks and snacks throughout the day and the general layout of the resort is perfect - you can get involved at the busier main pools/beach or hop over the bridge to get involved in some aqua aerobics and chilling at the quieter pools up there. We were able to try every booked restaraunt during our stay and they were all great, both in food and service/friendliness of the staff but Pithos was hands down the BEST food we have eaten in a long time. Hats off to the chef - it was beautiful. The gift of a recipe booklet was a really lovely and I can't wait to try some out at home! And god knows they dont try to skimp you on servings. For anyone not mentioned below, please dont take offence but I only remembered to start taking names down in the last few days - everyone was great! Maria (housekeeping) was an absolute darling, she found a vase for my bouquet and even made some cute towel swans to celebrate our engagement (which took place on the resort) Aggelos (barman and cocktail genie) is a wonderful guy, promised to make the best cocktails and delivered every time. Always smiling even when the bar was crowded - a great asset to the team. George, Dani & Katy (photos) captured our engagement beautifully and we were so happy we used them for our announcement. Great team. Michaelis (barman at romantic bar) another who always gave service with a smile and a little chat. Remembered our drinks from day 1 and always working hard to keep up with the relentless orders George (disco bar) great banter, even if we had to shout over the music (but its a disco, so thats fine) David (animation team) is a really lovely guy for some great conversation and clearly adores his work And finally, an extra special shout out to Nikoleta (guest services) who managed to source the most beautiful rose bouquet for my engagement despite being given 2hours notice by my now fiance to find them! It was really sad to say goodbye to the team, but we hope to be back for a reunion! The staff can make or break the customer experience and this is a wonderful team who made an amazing holiday even better and more memorable.

This is a massive resort. Beautiful setting with traditional different buildings. It is a village in itself. You can't fault how helpful all the staff are. So welcoming from the reception to the waiting staff. As a disabled guest using a mobility scooter, the resort was very accessible with ramps all over where you need them. The pavements a little uneven but I feel needed as they could be slippy in the wet. I used indoor pool as had walk in steps. At least 2 outdoor pools also have walk in steps. But no disabled hoist in any of the 5 pools. The hotel is about 10/15 minutes walk from hotel. Well worth the walk for the shopping and restaurants if you want something different (left out of hotel then first left and keep walking along beach front ). The food was varied each night so always find something to eat. The pool bars only have very limited food ie hotdogs and cake so it is best to go to restaurants for afternoon food if you want more than that. On the whole. Lovely hotel, great staff.

The hotel was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We left a set of our house and car keys in the safe The hotel found them for us and posted them back to England without any charge. Excellent service.

Wonderful hotel, very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent food with a variety of menues and rrestaurants. The beach towel exchange was also a good welcome idea. In terms of cleanliness Icould not fault it. I would go again.

Just keeps getting better every year always finding ways to improve and upgrade. Staff all very helpful and welcoming. They make you feel part of the Creta Maris community. This was our third visit and it certainly will not be the last.

Superb holiday here with family and friends. super location, super staff but why oh why do they have rules which they do not adhere to. First one is the no towels on sunbeds joke. At the Spiro Pool all beds had towels on them before 8.30am. Second rule was the only dress code for dinner. Great idea but again my granddaughter's boyfriend was told he could not get in the Italian restaurant with crop trousers so he went and changed to jog pants and was allowed in only to see two elderly gentlemen in the restaurant with shorts!! The same evening there were six women in the main restaurant with shorts on!! Apart from these two moans it was a brilliant holiday

Didn't get room we had asked for not very good for people with walking differculties if your in the upper part of complex have golf buggies to take people up.staff are very good both in the restaurants and the bars.

This was an excellent resort, with very good facilities. We went all inclusive which better still. The staff were very friendly. There is a great selection of places to eat. The main buffet although busy had an excellent choice every night. There were several pools so you don't have to go with the crowds at the main beach and pool. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is tennis, archery and other facilities and activities for those who like some exercise by the pool.
